I will be buzzing if we get Bissouma £25m is peanuts.

I watched a bit of the U21 game last night, wasn't a great performance but was really impressed with Spence, every time England got the ball he was looking to run in behind, his final ball wasn't great but that will likely improve.

Charlie Eccleshare’s also reporting the story too, he’s had a semi decent success rate with Spurs stuff.

Gary Jacob who broke the story also suggests Conte wants four more after Bissouma:
    2 defenders
    Creative mid
    Forward

    I say let them. <cheers>

Considering their “All or Nothing” series is going to be more embarrassing for them than ours and all of our DVDs put together could ever be, it’s only fair to let them enjoy whatever little things they can. <laugh>

Romano and Gold both reporting Bissouma now.

    This one’s a proper goer.

Yeah was unlucky with the own goal but had a solid game. Attacks really well and without fear. Neither of our RWBs run the line like that.

Said before though that he can’t cross for ****, does the “Walker cut back” or a hit and hope. Hard to say if it’ll improve or not, Walker’s never did to be honest. Though if he can skin a few FBs and drill in some passes or accurate cut backs, Kane, Son and Kulu will do the rest.

Speculation claims it's Derby's 18yo RW Malcolm Ebiowei

In other words, Jack Clarke isn't long for the squad

Are you saying that you're aware of the extent of his knowledge?

I find it baffling when a footballer who plays at the elite level cannot throughout his career develop the skill of crossing the ball properly…not saying always on the button but getting the height and whip etc.

I know for a fact when I want to get height and whip on a ball I can do that and if I want to low drill it…I can do that…two different methods of approach and execution.

    I don’t get it

It seems that Levy has finally learned that the time to make significant signings is when you've qualified the Champions League. Too often in the past he's tried to do it on the cheap and we've ended up regressing.

Bissouma troubles me a bit. He’s no longer on bail and reports are that he’s in Mali right now, which would suggest the police are focusing on his co-defendant rather than him if he’s been allowed to leave the country. One can only assume that the club have done all the diligence they can to feel comfortable on this one. Quite aside from the damage of such a player being associated with your club, it’s a bit **** to have to spend a chunk on money on a player only for him to be rather permanently unavailable.

On the pitch I like him a lot. It’s a very good signing for the price. He tackles well and is very difficult to press. That we’ve gone for that profile of midfielder also suggests to me that we’re looking for a more specialised creator as that isn’t really his game. He’s more of a transitional player like Dembele.

It was also said in Gary Jacob’s article that we’re quietly confident of an Eriksen return.

Romano’s also mentioned in an article via The Guardian that we should be tying up a deal for Spence for a similar fee to Bissouma’s.

I’d imagine with potentially Bissouma and Eriksen joining, we can definitely assume Winks is off, whilst Lo Celso and Ndombele will surely go if we get adequate offers. I reckon Sarr is almost certain to head out on loan again, it’d be pointless keeping him here where he likely wouldn’t feature in any more than 10 matches, a move to the Championship could work, Norwich maybe, give him the Skipp development treatment.

Bissouma is a very good signing if it happens.

What’s the latest on Richarlison? Or has it all gone quiet and was just media gossip with no substance?

Eriksen is a must, creative players aren’t easy or cheap to find and resigning Eriksen is probably the most low risk transfer ever.

Something's changed between Conte walking out of negotiations a year ago and the investment of £150m by ENIC this summer.

Whether it was imposed on him or he finally saw the light, we will never know...and makes no discernible difference. Now, we have a set-up and coach that will move the club forward significantly and let us challenge for silverware.

    Let's ****ing have it!

Suggestions that Winky and possibly Moura/Bergwijn might make up part of the deal will make things somewhat more complicated than a cash only transaction.

Bergwijn scores for fun when playing for NL so might be worth it for Everton. The question is whether he'd want to go there if Ajax or another CL team come calling. How confident would he be that Frank could get Everton into the CL places? Moura would probably want to head back to Brazil as his next move.

Just had a quick read of a Brighton forum, pretty decent bunch of fans to be honest, doubt I’ll ever do a DH awayday there <laugh>.

General consensus is that they’re obviously gutted to be losing “Biss” which is understandable, one even reckons he’s the club’s best ever player (not to be confused with greatest, as they’ve reserved that for Dunk), some feel fee is fair considering his contract situation, a few think another £10m or so could’ve been achieved but just about all of them are glad he’s joining us rather than Villa or Toon, they feel it’s a good sign that the club are selling to a top four team and not divisional rivals and so it sends a good message to young players and potential new signings that they’re a club who can develop good players.

Certainly, neither would actually want to go to Everton. I'll bet Dele didn't......but there he is.

Bergwijn and Moura are still miles better than Dele was in the last couple of seasons for us so I doubt they'd find themselves in the same situation.
