The Dele deal can rise to 40m based on performance based add ons. Apparently, (According to Alasdair Gold) Dele, Richarison and Lampard have the same agent. Also Apparently, Everton are interested in Winks. There is deal to be made somewhere there. Surely.
Everton will probably double Richarlison’s asking price after realising why we were so happy letting Dele go.
Some of you act like every penny the club spend is coming out of your bank account If Paratici and Conte want Richarlison then I hope the club get him. For me, he’s an upgrade on Bergwijn so that improves the squad. Anyway, sell Bergwijn and Winks and that money will cover signing him shouldn’t it?

Every penny the club spends ends up being paid for by the fans one way or another, at least in clubs like ours which are not a sportswashing front.
I would be happy with Richarlison, he can play anywhere across the front, is PL proven and has done reasonably well in poor PL teams. His shietehousery will also replace some of Lamela`s, sure he dives around a lot but he was playing for relegation threatened teams and feeding off scraps, there should be less need playing for Spurs. I would rather spend good money on a PL proven player than an unproven player from abroad, it is less risk and we know what we are getting.
I get that but the club are smart to only spend what they can afford so I’m not overly worried about what fee a player costs, if the club can afford them and think it’s an upgrade then all good to me
At the time it was the right thing to do, Poch had just reached the CL final and deserved to be backed. Unfortunately both those signings didn’t work out but that shouldn’t have an impact on if Conte gets Richarlison or not should it?
You back a good coach by giving him better players to coach NOT by letting him decide who the better players should be.
On average the club will make better buying choices than posters on here so I'm not overly worried either provided Conte's isn't the only voice being listened to
Which signings in recent times were supporters bemoaning, who then went on to make said supporters eat their words ??
So the coach shouldn’t get a choice in choosing who the club sign? Name me one successful club where the manager/head coach doesn’t get a huge say? Pep and Klopp for example most certainly get to choose who they want. Sir Alex and wenger were others who had huge says in all matters relating to the club not just transfers.
Sir Alex used to identify areas he wanted to strengthen then give David Gill a list with 4 names in each position and the request "get me one of these in each position" then Gill did the rest.
There were plenty around in January who were not convinced that the 2 'Juventus rejects' were going to offer much, (not necessarily here but across our fanbase).
He should get a vote not a choice. Some coaches may well have the skills and the time to identify signings. Some might not. Coaching and recruitment are different skills. Why would anyone assume that Conti had both just because he is excellent at one. If you hired the world's best IT geek to sort out your software and he did a great job you wouldn't then put him in charge of hiring.
