Only going off champions league appearances against us too. That bloke up front for Inter was completely bossed by Van Dijk and others, whereas I do remember Nunez being more of a threat.

Anyway, trust in Klopp and Co.

 

Klopps and the recruitment team have gone huge on 2 transfers really. Vvd and Ali and hasn’t got them wrong.

Keita is prob the only big signing that hasn’t worked but wonder if injuries have been main issue there.

Look at signings made, mane, Salah, diaz, Jota. All signed big money and been very good. Even origi and minamino for cheaper have done as expected so have no doubt that if they want to spend big money on a forward is more than likely going to work out.

The amount of chances we create, it would be hard for someone not to get a few goals unless finishing just let’s him down, be interesting to see how all round play is though

 

Yes I did and I did say that earlier in the thread but it's not a real indicator of a player's overall strengths, weaknesses just like buying a player based on their WC performance isn't a good indicator of how they perform week in, week out.

Origi was signed well before Klopp came and struggled for quite a while, he was loaned or a few times and plenty if reports said we were trying to sell him.

 

It might be like a kid being told he can go out on a brand new bike after he's eaten his dinner - or do without the dinner and go out now.

Fair enough. For some reason thought was a klopp signing. Either way doesn’t really alter the point making that when we buy strikers under klopp, they’ve mainly worked out very well

 

Klopp liked the fact he was honest enough to work hard and show up.

I really think when he was sent to wolfburg the intent was to sell there but he came back after playing absolutely ****e and suddenly after preseason he was part of the team and contributed.

Whatever else he has his contributions to remember and medals.

I'm finding it a bit disconcerting that we may actually have a busy transfer window, it seem along time ago that we lost and gained a number of players in just one window.

 

Apparently Utd have put in a bid Neves at Wolves, do Nunez should be nailed on

 

Utd are in for de jong and neves. Their own fans would admit they didn't have the cash for nunez.

They need midfielders cos they are.stuck with ronaldo
