Off Topic The Burly Arms

One has gone to golf, one to Barry Island and the 2 girls shopping and the ivy. Just me and the dog and a pint after my walk.

 

Absolutely it is

 

Dog has decided not to come for a pint.

 

Looked up once saw the lead and went back to sleep.

 

Not a big fan of cask ale but the one on the left is something called Italia and it's really nice.

 

Cloudy one at the back had a nice beer taste with a hint of orange Tic Tac.

It's not bad though but won't be having more.

 

1 pint cost 1 bar of chocolate

 

Although I paid £6 for a pint of Korev at one of the showground bars last night

 

I've been paying £4.50 where I just was.

 

£5.60 for a Thatchers where I just was

 

**** that.

 

That was my first thought.

 

Thatchers is all I drink. Used to drink lager years ago but switched to cider and now can’t drink lager at all. Have never liked ale or Guiness or IPAs (I haven’t tried many of them though)

Relentless heart burn for days after a session is definitely worth it for the glorious taste of cider

 

I used to drink Mongbow when I was young and a nice dry Cider is good for 1 pint on a hot day but that's about it.

 

Too hot for dog and wasn’t a fan of the cider evidently
