After a quick google search the transfer window closes on the 1st of September. Totally crazy as the season starts on the 30th July. How many games will that be with an uncertain squad? 4 to maybe 8 in ths champ.
I can't see the benefit for ANY club starting with such inbalance really. i know it has happened before, but I am on a whinge! ahhahahaha
Sierralta played the full game in Chile's 2-0 loss to Tunisia this morning in the Kirrin Cup in Japan. Had to look twice at the goalscorers for Tunisia - one of them was an A Abdi...
What a bunch of cynics we have for fans - mind you, that's not surprising after the season we've just endured.
This past few months are easily the most negative I have seen Watford fans - as you say it was a rubbish season so not a shock but everyone seems gets in the neck and there is slagging off other fans whilst others of all ages say they'll never step foot in the Vic again. It's actually quite depressing and not enjoyable to read really. I mean they support Edwards for now but give it a couple of iffy results or we don't get the transfers in and out they demand he'll be next in the firing line. Some do need to understand we won't just be getting rid of the whole squad and getting a brand new one in - I mean if we are in as much debt as some claim we are then hardly anyone will be brought! Maybe it's just because we have so much social media and ability to reaction instantly to news/ results - and if they don't like it then they will be negative. Often encouraged by the media and I don't think it helps football general seems a world away with all its money and egos from the real world and how everyone has to live. Having said that the first thing a club needs to do is win games - particularly at home. Least that might cheer some up!
TDB fined for failing to pay for a £103.50 train ticket from Reading to Manchester. To be honest, I think Cross Country rail should be fined for charging so much. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...s-tom-dele-bashiru-fined-skipping-train-fare/
I was going to write my usual prose but I'll stick with: you can take the boy out of Manchester but you can't take the Manc out of the boy. Not even any mitigation in that report. Two weeks wages (minimum) fine from the club one would hope. Probably gets paid more per week than I do in six months or more, even. And that's what sticks in my craw: the absolute ability to pay, and then some; and the belief that he is above paying. Maybe he did it to try and force a move?
Better make sure you know where you put down your reading glasses as it appears you will need them over the next few days. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/20205958.scott-duxbury-says-watford-needed-culture-back/
