Nothing wrong with a long post about cricket. The Yorkshire forum I'm on is full of them.

You have my sympathies. I fully expect the same but going east to Hull once the season starts

I've got tickets for that day. Anyone got good parking recommendations for Headingley?

Another fine bottle job from Yorkshire against that lot from over t'ill. Good game for the neutral but if you've watched Yorkshire long enough you knew exactly where it was going.

Their only strategy for a while now seems to be trying to out score teams on flat pitches at home. Sometimes they get on a roll and win pretty much all of them, but other times it doesn't come off, like this year, and their away record in T20 is abysmal. Well they now have about 6 away games on the trot so it's another Finals Day watching the rest battle it out for glory, and I'd be amazed if those red rose ****ers weren't there this time :emoticon-0183-swear

De Grandholme out too, could be a damp squib except it's England, so anything could happen!

Exactly, it will be interesting to see how this goes, not sure about Pope at 3, where is Malan, as I thought he might be a better bet?

I'm not sure about Pope anywhere tbh. I thought he showed real promise a year or so ago but he's never really kicked on.

NZ 54/0. Bowling looks like hard work out there.

NZ 108/2, they'll be happy with that having been put in.

Balls moving about now. 170-4. But two dropped slip catches have spoilt the bowlers efforts.

Mindful of what Richie Benaud used to say, 'if you win the toss and it's obvious you should bat, then bat. If it's not that obvious, take your time, have a good think...then bat.

Thought it was a bit ott to distract Broady by burning his pub down. NZ are going to win this test regardless. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

You can't help feeling the first test was NZ just getting used to the conditions, now they are showing their true class.

Day 2 and they're about to hit 500 with half the team still to bat.

    Edit: They've hit 500.
