He may have a generous allowance but to spend serious money he would need the permission of the trustees, and they are duty bound to be ultra cautious. I’m not well versed in these matters but I think this is how it works.

    I'm sure you're right mate.

I just don't think finance is the reason he doesn't want to buy the shares

It would be easier and cheaper to buy Sartori’s.

Good point. That would leave the obnoxious duo over a barrel… I think.

Maybe if he bought the remaining shares, there wouldn't be anything left for someone else to invest in.
I might be wrong, but I don't think KLD is in it for the money like sd/cm we're. He owns the controlling stake in the club, doesn't matter who buys the rest, he still has the final say. Any cash he puts in would need to be matched pro rata by whoever has shares. If they can't do that, their shares are diluted, so KLD ends up with more anyway.
Again, I might be wrong, but IMHO KLD holds all the cards here, he really is in a win/win situation.
    I think he's played a blinder tbh.

Is that always true, or does it depend on the shareholder or company agreements? Real question - I don't know, but have read it on here a lot. I know it applies to D+M, but does it automatically apply to the new people?

I've been away with work so haven't had the chance to trawl through all these post etc.....But I did a little this morning. F uck me, Just when we think SAFC are finally on the move, some decent momentum and the feel good factor come back, THIS HAPPENS. It beggars belief that another bunch of chancers could own a slice of the SAFC cake just when we get rid of some. There must be someone out there with enough vision to understand and Invest in a progressive Championship club now who has everything in place so as and when it get back to Premier League their investment will be worth considerably more.
    Sort it out Kyril, Juan..anyone..

Typical reply on there and the usual panic over nothing.

"These guys/family are billionaires why don’t they go and buy the full stake and therefore full control. Makes no sense…. Here we go again another summer of the club unwilling to spend on transfers until ownership sorted."

Firstly, KLD does have control. His people are all board members and Sartori is obviously working with him.

Secondly, our recent transfers have been good and got us promoted.

Have these people missed the likes of Pritchard who could've just signed for a Championship side and saved himself a season.

The reason I am not panicking is exactly as others have said. No contact from TFT with any employees or with KLD means they have not completed due diligence. No respectable buyer would complete a deal without due diligence.

As mentioned before this will all play out and eventually we will have a board all singing the same song

How will we cope when all we will have to worry about is
    Players transfers in and out
    Pre season stuff
    More improvements around the club
Are the trees at the AOL still growing

    The good old days

This is what I am guessing is happening. The 2 chuckle brothers dont have the money for funding next season. KLD has offered them a lesser price than what they wanted for their shares. Being very greedy sly ****ers they thought by adding another bid it would cause an increased offer. I suspect all it has actually done has panicked the supporters, but I bet KLD and his advisors are laughing at the 2 clueless ****ers thrashing about. Haway KLD

The constant spotlight and uncertainty over the ownership of the club is getting beyond tedious now and it has been going on since 2017. That’s 5 years now with it always lurking in the background.

It needs sorted permanently and soon. The sad thing is if TFT get a foot in the door then it’s going to carry on even longer because it’s going to cause huge unrest amongst the support.

We can’t truly progress as a club until this situation becomes stable.

No sadness about it in my eyes

TFT will definitely get nowhere near our club

We have sharp club management running the show now. whoever gets the remaining shares will be pleasing for both the fans and the KLD/JS partnership
A very bright future ahead so enjoy the ride and excitement

There is alot more to it than just that and KLD found he has had to stump more than he should left, right and centre because they wouldn't/couldn't. This held up significant investment that was going to happen. There is alot of anger behind the scenes and now we are seeing games played out in the open true to CM and SD's styles.

You probably know yourself that football fans, especially on social media, are idiots.

Bit of a sweeping statement I know, but the amount of comments I see saying similar is unbelievable.

Some people judge success and ambition on how much money the club spends and it’s ridiculous.

I agree with your scenario and I am curious whether this come from an inside source or from your own opinion.

Well that's been an interesting read.

A random statement from a crypto company with no money, a journalist picks up on it and repeats it without any basic fact checking and all hell lets loose.

KLD then has to release a statement, which all be it carefully worded is also very professionally put together. It dismisses the crypto bid with the comment "no employee of the club has had dialogue with them".

It also clearly points out that KLD and Satori are completely aligned in their vision for the club and cleverly confirms (to me anyway) that the relationship between them and SD and CM has completely broken down and that KLD and Satori will not conduct their business in public.
