i would read the last line of KLD's statement, that makes it sound very much like there has been talk that certain criteria needs to be met by any interested parties and if not met then they got zero chance. i also tend to think that with the back up KLD has (advisors. solicitors etc) that he would have pretty much water tight 'conditions' stamped into any and every transaction...right now i am leaning more to KLD's statement as 'facts' rather than something a journo (however creditable he is) has been told.
Well you've banged in about the methven and Donald gone you've banged on about the new investors having big ambition so let's see if you're right
That would be ideal and was the plan initially. For some reason the price changed. Maybe it's just hardball.
And I said it won't be these and keep calm. Couple hours later the chairman puts out a statement. They are going /gone. Just a matter of time and when the ink drys. Let's see.
Exactly. If the minority shareholders have to put in money that's good. If KLD owns the entire club he has to fund everything. Why wouldn't he stick to Plan A.
They do have full control. They don't have to work with minority shareholders, they can just ignore them.
I hope so, but to rubbish it he'd have just had to post a link to the 19 failed companies, or the fact that their business plan was based on selling SAFC fans "pictures of shiney hats".
I'd be getting myself an interest free credit card with one of those offers where you dont have to pay for 20 months or so. Just get your credit limit set to 2bn and off you go
