Think you'll find that any term refering to a person's ethnicity, race or group can be racist, depending on the context. Check out the list of public order offences with racist elements. The definition is very wide. If you lot think it's acceptable to use such terms in a derogatory context about Swansea people you are quite wrong and Dickey's post above is spot on. It's NOT 'just banter'. It's offensive - and you know it. Let's be honest, that's why you use it.

I'm banned from the swans board yet a racist like you can come on the Cardiff board, I bet that gives you a great thrill, why don't you go and cream your racist knickers over your "great victory" on the Swansea board, I'm pretty certain that we don't need racist hypocrites like you on this board.
If you opened your eyes as wide as your mouth, you would see that Cardiff fans, are frequently referred to as "Bloobs" or "Blueturds".....do a quick count up, I've been referred to as a "bloob" or a "blueturd" far more than I've ever used the term "gypo" or "peg seller" and I'm not the only one........as for pictures of caravans.........what about pictures of swansea players waving a flag that shows a Cardiff flag being defaced? Phillis - I don't post on the Swans board any more as you know, and some of the reasons are obvious. Had a lot of time for you personally with the banter on 606 over the seasons, but I reckon you've lost the plot over this one big time. Proph is nowhere near the "evil" poster description with which many of your lot are trying to tag him and which you appear to support. This just an opinion mind, but I DO find him going over the top (sorry Proph) on times the way he reacts to the baiting, but he deserves far better treatment. Some of the crap said about him is ridiculous. His presence as a member of the Cardiff not606 regular posters is more than just appreciated - it is most welcome. The fact that a number of your crew (maybe not you personally) have chosen to witch hunt him off your board by involving Syd says a lot about the double standards that exist over there.
It might seem that way sparky, but maybe I'll PM you regarding why I posted the term I did, I don't see it as Racist at all, but that's my view, which I will clarify in a PM, because I don't want to make it even worse for Prophet. As regards getting Prof banned, I don't know who complained to Cypress, but I certainly did not, I've always maintained that it's best to let posters moderate themselves, and there has been some trigger happy Swans mods deleting posts, that should never have been deleted, and even Vetch had been complaining about that, also the closing of threads was another issue, which I had to re-address, but I have to say that Prof has brought this on himself, he's his own worst enemy, I'm not ignoring Vetch either, as in the past I've told Vetch, that he is as bad as Prophet, because neither of them would let this long standing feud go, and it has ruined too many threads, from the PM that I had off cypruss, I concluded that cypruss had, had a number of complaints from both Cardiff, and Swansea supporters, and that he had made his decision to ban the both of them, and his mind was made up, and there was nothing I could do to stop him, but having said that, I won't miss the arguments between Proph and Vetch, and neither will anyone else, let's hope they both learn!.................... please log in to view this image PS: By the way, I have been accused of not being enough hands on by some Jacks, with regard to this issue, hence why when Mabon disappeared, some wanted more pro active mods, I'm not in that camp, and will always avoid at all cost the banning of a poster, or the removing of posts, unless it's really necessary...............
