I wanted to watch us v Morecambe on the last day of the season on SAFSEE which wasn’t available in the UK. I am a bit of a technophobe but I was advised to download Opera search engine and use their free built in VPN, It worked a treat for me, very basic but I suppose it depends on what you want to use it for.

Currently using IPVanish and can’t really fault it, but I’m also paying for AVG antivirus (also very good) and together it’s a bit pricey. Just waiting for the contract to end and I’ll be going for Surfshark as well.

Private Internet Access is pretty good, think I got a 3 year deal for £60 (they have special offers running now and again).

Had no issues and used it for streaming SAFSEE games etc.

What can you use it for? I'm a massive technofobe.

depends how 'tight' you want it to be, i tend to use a free one that works with mozilla (browsec) and it gets me streams that would usually be blocked...obviously, once you start paying then you have a lot more options depending on which you choose but the free ones have always done enough for me.

The only thing I have used it for is purchasing a Sunderland away game through SAFSEE when it isn't available to buy in the UK

I've never had or used a VPN, and I've had IPTV for about 4 years now. I watch every Sunderland game, home and away, without issue....no buffering, no freezing. That is whether its a live Sky game, or an ifollow stream, makes no difference...perfect stream, all the time, every time.
Most of the problems are from the broadband provider....Sky broadband is the worst, a VPN is definitely required, and Virgin maybe 50/50.
I'm with plusnet, and honestly never had an issue.

Interesting. I have Virgin and sometimes forget to connect VPN and the match is ok other times I need it, but Virgin drops out at least once a week and can’t get Netflix/Prime to come on so will be looking for a new provider soon.
    Is Plusnet reliable and quick?

It's been fine for me mate, been with them years and never had an issue. I've got 80mbps fibre with unlimited use. I pay £34.99 a month, but that includes line rental, which I think is £19.99. Bloody rip off that bit really, considering we don't use a landline.

I've used Tunnelbear which was fine in UK but didn't work to pretend I was in UK while in Florida when trying to get sky sports on.

Currently using Nord VPN which works absolutely fine but on my laptop it takes an age to load up which does my head in. Fine on all my other devices.
