You don’t think Johnson is a desperate power hungry narcissist who ‘gets on with the things that matter’ ? (ie keeping him in power). Ringing around saying ‘please let me off’ is embarrassing tbh. What a state.

Just watched the coverage of the Jubilee from St Paul's Cathedral.

The PM was roundly booed by the crowd as he walked up the steps.

I don't think I've ever seen anything like that.

The toffs in the church and the Guards outside of the church should've booed him.

I think that'll trigger a few more letters of no confidence.

It's all very well saying the public are no longer bothered about the parties, lies, etc ...

... these were mainly happy middle aged women booing, not a bunch of radical protesters.

Apparently our "Crime Minister" says he only heard cheering for him and didn't hear any boos. Yeah right Bonko <laugh>

In which case you'd expect him to be polite and acknowledge his supporters with a smile or even a little wave.

In reality he kept his back firmly turned on the public ...

... something he seems to do on a regular basis <laugh>

He was looking for a fridge to hide in. Still, it was nice of him to take his daughter there with him. Nice red dress she was wearing.

0_VIPs-Attend-The-Dedication-Ceremony-Of-The-National-UK-Police-Memorial.jpg Boris has heard there is a storm coming his way. But isn't worried as he is prepared for it.

    and

    Mogg the haunted Victorian pencil

keep telling us nobody cares about parties…it’s just fluff and lardarse has got all the big calls right and nobody else can win the red wall seats like him.

To be fair Janey, who else would give the braindead Dorries or the annoying Rees Mogg a job in their cabinet. They are so bad they make him look semi competent by comparison. Deliberate by Bonko in my opinion.

Works both ways, deliberate by him for the very reason you say, but they also know under any other PM, even a Tory one, they’d be no where near the cabinet, so he’s got their unadulterated loyalty. Especially Mad Nad, she lurves him

I think the voting is by secret ballot?

Bonko must be worried, although if he wins by 1 vote the tosser will carry on.

Whatever happens I'm just pleased he's had a few very public slaps in the face. He's a bully who thinks he can just laugh at everything and everyone. I thought he might actually do some good at first but he's just a very unpleasant man.

He reminds me of Prince Charles who always craved a particular job ...

... I just don't think either are well suited to it of have any idea how to do it.

Politics these days is all about short termism with politicians never thinking beyond their own terms of office. Tonight is an interesting test for the tories - if he wins he is untouchable for another 12 months by which time the damage he could do would make the tories unelectable at the next GE - are they going to seriously say he's the best they've got or are they going to think to the future for once?

    I think he'll win.

Apparently Liz Truss has said she will vote for Bonko... i bet she is lying, as the ballot is secret she will vote for herself, ie Bonko out, so she has a chance of becoming leader/PM
