Because i don't know where I got to, I'll probably wait for it to finish and watch it all again. Same with TWD & FTWD
Tried to watch Stranger Things but gave up after the first season, not for me. My two eldest love it.
Wasn't trying to say anything I tried to watch it because my kids were watching it (#bonding) but just couldn't get into it.
We can't all agree on everything. Think we're in agreement on LFC, BB, BCS and The Wire. Great film on Horror tonight at 9. Assault on Precinct 13. Classic Carpenter.
I tried to watch The Wire a few times but couldn't get into that either. Realise it's very well recieved, just not my sort if thing.
She's so key to everything something has to happen to her but I agree there might be something unexpected.
In regard the BB Vs BCS it's clear that Gilligan has improved in his writing and directing BCS it's far superior but I wish he'd go back and redo BB now, it would be incredible.
I read recently that its Peter Gould who is the driving force behind BCS. Gould has been showrunner since S3 when Gilligan stepped back to only really direct and write little bits now and then.
The wire is mad and very dated. The core for me is the simple message nothing ever changes no matter what and most don't give two ****s. I think it benefits from being on the cusp of tech revolution as the first series would not be the same if it was mobile phones etc.
Anyone watching obi wan? Got a very good reception on first two episodes but no 3 really sets it off. The drama of what it is has allowed for hiding imo some pretty bang average story there's and vehicles. I thought the baba felt started rank but after 3 or 4 episodes took off to be exceptional by the end. This has the potential but there is a strong whiff of it falling apart under poor plot arch. The job done thus far.by mcgregor has been really strong.
