I don't believe Sartori ever had a serious disagreement, I think he'll be glad to see the back of the other two. He's a man of his word and if he was upset he'd go as well, there are buyers for his shares. He's never made any suggestion that he wants to sell up. As for the other two going soon, that's already been covered on here a while back. Always good to have other views though, please keep posting.
I agree with all that and I don't expect anything other than a good outcome. My question is more of a theorectical what if. I spent 40 years in IT, writing specifications and building systems, so thats why I tend to look at worst possible outcomes! As you say I would expect that when KLD bought his 41% he would have some control over who the 39% was eventually sold to.
I've put episode 1 of the second series of STID on. **** me, that meeting about the run out music is cringy as ****.
There is almost certainly a Shareholders Agreement in place which would typically have provisions to allow the current shareholders to have first option on any shares being sold. We have a similar arrangement in my firm. Essentially means the current owners can (if we can afford it) stop any sales to outside interests. I’d be staggered if KLD didn’t have the same right. So when SD and CM sell then KLD (assuming he can afford their shares) is happy about who is buying… it’s commonplace
Prince A is self isolating. Probably on the orders of Charlie. Probably for the next ten years. Probably gonna have an accident.
There was a deal in place for KLD to buy Sartori’s shares. KLD changed his mind and pulled out of the deal for reasons we will probably find out in time.
And CM and SD shares but KLD changed his over offer to 2 thirds of his original offer incase we did not get promoted, that released the 3 amigos to go to the open market.
I was told it was an option, not a deal. As @safcyellowbelly said, that's usual. Whatever the case Donald and Methven were out.
JS was introduced to SAFC by CM they have been friends for years, CM and JS introduced KLD to the idea of buying into the club, hence the discrepancy over the 41% shares
Sartori’s father in law owns Monaco and already knew the Louis-Dreyfus family as does absolutely everyone involved in French football. KLD didn't need a nonentity like Methven to introduce him. "Sources have also pointed out that despite his clear links to Donald and Methven, Sartori also has a long-standing and close relationship with the Louis-Dreyfus family."
He was already well aware of SAFC and had been to see them play before he ever met Methven. He was at Leeds and mates with the son of a lifelong friend of mine, Dr Dave Ashfield, who's also an author of SAFC related books. I stood with him on the Fulwell End for twenty years. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1789964377/?tag=not606-21 His son now a London solicitor, was at Wembley and is still in contact with KLD. They were with us, and dozens of people from here and RTG, in the Argyle Pub, Oxford Circus. They were guests in the posh seats and spoke to KLD, Sartori and other people there. Methven and Donald were there but not in with the in crowd as Brian Ferry would say. I'm told things that I'd love to post on here but I don't betray a confidence or pretend I'm on the inside of NDA'S. I used to do work for Ken Bates, when I lived in Monaco, and despite him being a disagreeable beast knew everyone who's anyone. He introduced me to KLD's family, although I don't recall him tbh, and also Sartori's father in law. Methven wasn't ever mentioned or seen. I had people, from this forum and RTG, to visit me in the South of France and took them to the Monaco stadium, the training ground and the Palace. I was introduced to Prince Albert, on the yacht of Mark Hughes, so know quite a bit about the Principality. Sadly I was arrested there and banned from visiting for 10 years which f**cked things up somewhat
