TBH mate, I think KLD has done quite well with the same share split considering Donald and Methven don't get on too well. He and Sartori seem together and very focused. Ultimately, for the shareholders to benefit the club need to be successful ... ... I have faith in the KLD people and believe this will be more of the same.
Im inclined to agree, however I feel chaz and Daves orders where "you're skint, so go over there and shut the f**k up". I see what you see re KLD and Juan, two business men with a common goal. So hand in hand so to speak while the Trotters wait for the bank manager to phone. Alas no genuine opinions can be realistically formed until we know the full extent of the entitys buying on. We're lead to believe these are serious money people? So hopefully a harmonic atmosphere can surround our cathedral.
I fully agree - unless it’s other members of the LD family buying said shares of course. In fact, the more I think about it the closer I come to the conclusion that this is the only scenario that makes any sense
Points to almost like a jugganaught, looking after their son, and buying out the chaff. This is not itk. Just looking at it marra
I've been told, twice now, that this is a family affair but sadly it's a Mag who's telling me. I just hope he's not just setting me up for a fall.
would this person be the kind that would take such piss? I liked the idea of John Reece, but seems unlikely.
everything so far points to it being a either a closed family shop, or and investor close to the family.
I agree, keeping it in the family or close very wealthy friends of the family would be ideal. But there's every chance something out of left field would be thrown in.
Absolutely mate and unfortunately he's quite well connected. His mate is a solicitor who represented Ashley in a dispute with Quinny. I never heard the last of that, Ashley won apparently. Away to bed now.
Our Quinn? really? Well, his club has gotten everything it ever wanted in a Saudi takeover, so what would he have to gain by ripping the piss.
Completely outweighed on the positive side if our financial resources are significantly improved imo, it’s not the ideal situation of one owner who is absolutely minted but hopefully it’ll be a big step forward from the two charlatans.
Surely whoever it is would have to buy into KLD's vision of the way forward of SAFC. Family maybe easier to convince than an associate through business. Forget D&M ,without voting rights as far as l am concerned KLD has delivery Championship football next season, something those two couldn't do. I like him for what he has achieved
Absolutely mate. Why would anyone come on board unless they know the L- D family and generally support the aims, structure and methods. I really can't understand why some people are already predicting boardroom rows and disruption. There are endless, more certain and straightforward, ways for wealthy people to make money and exercise their intellect. That's why many wouldn't dream of becoming involved in football. Coming in to disrupt things is on no one's interests. No matter who's involved they all want exactly the same thing ... ... success for themselves which means success for the club which means success for the supporters. And the L- D family certainly don't need to take the risk of bringing a bad apple into the barrel.
Now we’ve been promoted I have been brave enough to watch STID #2 watching SD and the Will Grigg deal gives me confidence that KLD might have the better of him in any negotiations…
