OK. Don't know anything about the lad. Hope he is decent. My concerns are rising slightly as we have Dramah, Ayling and Dallas who are all capable right backs yet we have decided to buy another one. We are still short of a midfielder, a left back and a striker. Can't get excited by a right back.
If it comes off then it's a very important signing in my view. Reason being it's Jesse's choice and we've gone out and got him (maybe).
Yeah that's fair enough. I just don't want to end up with 16 wingers and 4 right backs in the squad. I'm gonna put 2+2=5 here but Orta and Kinnear are in New York at the moment. Rumour mill is saying they are in New York to build a move for Valentin Castellanos who plays for NY City. Argentinian striker with fancy footwork. Alot of his goals look to be penalties from what I can see. The only fact in all this is that Orta and Kinnear are definitely in New York.
I think we do need a right back. Drameh might have fit the bill, might, and ayling is out for unspecified. Dallas is cover but also crocked. agree though… priority order for me would be after striker mid and left back. you get the deals gone when you can though so if this one was good to go quickly I’m fine with it… as long as it’s not at the expense of others. is he any good? Well how I would I know. YouTube vids always look good but his stats are good too. Likewise with Aaronson… it’s a big step up.
Leif Davis only has a year left on his contract and I'd imagine he's on peanuts compared to the rest of them. As long as he's fully recovered from his injury I'd like to keep him and just see how it pans out. Granted that obviously doesn't address your major concerns over Firpo.
