That 'sheepfolds developments' thread could prove to be as important as this one for the city. Loads going on as you say.

Unless someone is deliberately doing the spelling mistakes or has dyslexia then the one I think it would be is the one I’ve talked to of the pair (and seemed thick as ****) which is Donald. I don’t know why whoever is posting doesn’t use some speech software to write what they want, correct through the grammar/spell checkers and the. copy and paste it into a post. It’s definitely someone linked.

FPP spent a lot of money having feasibility studies done on Sheepfold, the Riverside, the St Peters Metro station and, in particular, the public access from there, the other Metro station and the train station.

These are issues, from the horses mouth, that could prevent the SOL being considered for major sporting events, concerts, etc.

As much as I love the buzz of walking across the bridge from Town it's shameful once you're over and coming past the Deaf Club area or, even worse, taking the alley round the back.

Sheepfolds is better but not great and the approach from the Wheatsheaf isn't easy. Pedestrians coming from the Tesco approach have to battle against a tide of match day and shopper traffic.

FPP wanted to engage the council, Metro, local businesses, etc, to make big changes. It never happened, as we know, but I'm hoping the files have been passed on.

It would totally change the area around the ground.

    P. S. don't give a monkey's who believes me <laugh>

    He's a WUM.
Is sometimes quite clued up about the club / finances, but doesn't come across as a fan.
Has been found out telling porkies.
Reckons he works in London in the financial sector.
Types with his forehead and never uses a spellchecker as part of his 'online persona'.

Indeed mate, he flips between using "we" and "us" for a while but has has said he's not a SAFC fan.
In fact IIRC one of the times he was caught out fibbing was when he tried to say he'd been at a match and then said something later which contradicted himself.

I like Thornbridge beers. Particularly the wonderfully named Impromptu Ladder Convention. Win Hill is another beauty. I prefer the DDH to the normal Jaipur, but it is still a good drop.

I can well believe it mate. Maybe if Donald hadn't been greedy FPP would have worked with the council on the development plans after buying the club. But, from some first hand knowledge, dealing with the metro/Nexus can be like banging your head off a brick wall and some businesses would be prepared to shoot themselves in the foot through greed.

When the SoL was being built, Vasey signs had some advertising signs up near where Stadium way is. The value of the land and the signs was £25k, Vasey's obstructed and delayed selling, which delayed the road being built, until the club had to pay £250k to get hold of the land.

I've heard of other stuff over the years of businesses being deliberately obstructive to try and get as much as they can out of different proposals and developments, some of it backfiring on them. The red brick building in High Street next to Primark was built in the late 90s to be a new bar, but the developers fell out, so it never opened. Later on one of them died and the estate held on to their share, refusing to sell out because they thought they could hold out for more money for any future development of the Bridges. In the end they held onto it too long, the Bridges built Primark without buying that plot and its now been bought at a relatively low price with it supposed to be demolished for the new library.

I won't be happy until we're on sky sports as part of a wealth pie chart and we basically are the pie. Naturally I'm kidding before I'm accused of being a glory hunter.lol

I Don't think its him but whoever it is seems to be connected to them .In between some of the wind up stuff , he does seem to have good knowledge of other clubs and general football issues .I think he gets dismissed too easily due to the CM image. Not sure what he gets out of it as the abuse he gets is ridiculous.
