I thought Beale was staying put but this seems to be all over Twatter at present, better than most names mentioned if true.

No luck for me today, stuck at Pafos Airport with over 3 hour delay thanks to the carnage at Gatwick...

WLS reporting we're keen, and lots of respected journos reporting it's almost done. Not the normal clickbait stuff.

Goodness, I'm actually really hopeful about this appointment. Which is frustrating, because that will make the inevitable disappointment all the more crushing.

 

I’m largely underwhelmed by the names that I’ve heard of and cannot reasonably get excited about those I haven’t.

 

I too am struggling to contain my apathy. I very much hope my indifference will be unfounded.

 

Yes, it's all over main stream media that Beale is our 1st choice, and that he now wants a Management job. One "source" has him travelling from Spain to London today to meet QPR. Probably his plane will get cancelled....

But it's 1 June tomorrow, many, maybe Warburton's, and probably other Candidates current contracts will terminate, and we may actually be able to actually conclude the appointment of a Manager that likely was not doable until tomorrow. So I expect an incoming pretty soon now, whether it is Beale or someone else.

 

Hope he has better luck than me, just been told we're diverted to Geneva...

Really hope we appoint Beale, the sort of gamble we should be taking. Wouldn't have been my first choice but will be behind him and hope he turns out to be as inspirational as Cooper has been at Forest !

He has glowing refences from players, gerrard and others.
People are saying he is the reason gerrard is doing OK...and he is an excellent coach.

Beale sounds like just what I was hoping for.

 

I’m well up for Beale too. Beginning to look more and more likely.

 

Young, good reputation, seems very capable in developing young talent, has worked abroad so probably has some new ideas...what is not to like. Even works well with the song..."Michael Beale's blue and white army..."

 

Lots of Rob Dickie talk on the Twitters, £10m to either Everton or West Ham. They're not still being tricked by his 4 goals in 4 games at the start of last season are they?
