Pissing with rain there I'm taking your advice and having a spot of lunch liquid that is. I am very happy with info passed on in confidence, but do get frustrated by posters criticism and slurs on those who pass it on. Rather than digest and appreciate the info for what it is and wait for update as and when they are available, but their are poster who only wish to discredit the information and worst of all discredit those who have passed in good faith. I reckon Jim Ratcliffes interest in Chelsea has whetted John Reece's appetite for it and this could have been talked about and discussed behind the scenes for a while. Promotion has tipped the first domino. Just my opinion of course.
Why shouldn't that happen. The turn out for both semi finals and the final were far and away better than anything Brighton, Brentford, Southampton, Fulham, Bournemouth, etc, could ever manage. The income from gates is irrelevant ... ... the backdrop we provided at Wembley may never be bettered. People talked about the Portsmouth and Charlton support previously, didn't even come close.
We’ve had a billionaire in the past but that was disastrous. Thankfully we currently have a 23 year old billionaire who has finally brought a sense of professionalism to the club. Whatever happens I hope KLD is still around. He seems to have stabilised our finances and turned the club around finally.
He's 23 but got a lot more experience of being around football than Short ever had (or ever will). He's probably got 20yrs experience of being in and around football dressing rooms, board rooms etc. plus his other expiriences as part of the family business. Head firmly screwed on imo. If we can get up towards 30k, add in 5k or so on the day purchases and bigger teams being 4-5k then we could be seeing in excess of 40,000 most weeks going to be a twat to get parked
