Konate was absolute quality. Other than the **** up for the ‘goal’ that wasn’t, he didn’t put a foot wrong. Big and strong, times his tackles well, happy with ball at his feet. Looks like gonna be a mainstay and first choice with vvd next season

When Klopp first arrived and we got to the final in 2018 we were a fast transition counter attacking team but were average defensively Then we got Virgil and Alisson and we slowed down the counter attacking transition This season we have been dominating teams with the pressing but we have also started just tossing it off passing slow and left to right. Tonight we played far too slow, to much left to right and had basically nobody running and committing themselves in the box. We should have won tonight with the opportunities we got but the keeper had a blinder
Cheer up lads, if that had gone to penalties you would almost certainly have won it giving you a treble of Cups. A few more penalties in the league and you could have won that too
Sucks we didn't win especially since we were the better team but it was a good game to watch anyway. Other than not winning, I have no complaints.

Does make me laugh. We’ve watched out tesm win 2 trophies (one we haven’t won in a decade). Tske the title to the last day of the season despite being 14 points behind in January as well as getting to another CL final which we unfortunately lost. Only lost 4 games all season (1 of which was a second leg game that had no impact) on the tie Weve had many more joyous games and happy days than most other fans of teams. Yet apparently we’ve bottled it, had a poor season and players are ****. Keane said it best when said you know how far your own team has fallen when your mocking Liverpool for ‘only’ winning 2 trophies this season. jealousy eh, funny old thing.
Just wonder whether going for the quad cost us one of the big ones. After running on empty for so long, maybe we would have had more energy? VVD, Fab, Salah, Tiago, Origi were all injured in the last 10 days. Hopefully this gives us extra motivation. Last time we lost the league on the last day, we won it the next season. Last time we lost a CL final, we won it the next season. Next year is our year
