Deffo the Tubby Lards final, thousands of fans from clubs attend the final regardless of who gets there, which is the weirdest thing, can’t do it in football, but it’s not really a thing for football fans is it?
Why would you want to watch a final, live at the ground with all the ticket and travel costs, between two teams you don't support? Very strange.
Not at Wembley either. Which beggers the question why aren't Mansfied and port Vale playing at say Villa Park? They're hardly likely to fill Wembley. Whereas the RL Cup final as been in the national stadium since the beginning of time. Ps heard a story about Udders fans who are going to RL final today, then travelling back home after the game only to return tomorrow for the Championship play off final. They can't afford to stay in Londidium.
It’s a traditional weekend piss up with a game of RL in the middle of it. I’ve done nearly 40 of them myself. It’s a good harmless weekend of laughs and beer, often meeting up with folks you might not see too often. I’ve enjoyed it and the pubs are welcoming because very rarely is there any trouble.
It isn't really strange, it's a big occasion for RL fans. There'll be plenty of neutrals in Paris tonight just to watch footie, and all those people who get Olympics tickets for whatever event they can just to be there. I think it's quite refreshing really.
Hope we get Baxter back, heard were looking at a keeper called Jesus, apparently a good shot stopper but not good with crosses.
They must have got well advanced cheap train tickets then, I’d rather stay down there than mess about travelling back & forth!
Think we'd still need a decent back up, not sure Cartwright is up to it this season full time. Happy for Ingram plus another loan though.
In all seriousness, if Grimsby go up - it'd be great to send him on loan there - his place of birth isn't it?
Another daft comment from you. Wrexham have been spending silly money, and as the FFP rules are different in Non League, they can.
Yeah it is he was in their academy until he was 13/14 I think. He was one of the best outfield players at his age group at Grimsby too
