    Pure speculation but that Rafael Benitez looking bloke looks a bit like Larry Fink, CEO of Blackrock. Kyrils mam's boyfriend works for Blackrock apparently

    This is an absolutely cracking post, not controversial at all. This season has had some fantastic high points and the culmination of it all with that atmosphere, that performance and how much it meant to both the players and the fans was magic. Last weekend felt like a better time to be a fan of this great club than many of the Premier League seasons to me. Yes, I want us to get back there eventually, but it's more important that we develop our own talent, build a good club culture and sign players who recognise what it means to play for Sunderland. I don't really care if that means it takes 5 years longer to get back up to the top flight.

    The other option of course is that it’s BlackRock buying the shares as an investment as they trust in KLDs stewardship to grow the value of that stake.
