My understanding : - "90" means 90 mins played (ie one entire game) 0.4 per game = 0..4 / 1 = 0.4 x 10 / (1 x 10) = 4 / 10 = 2/5. Therefore : 1. Winks makes 2 "accurate through balls" every 5 'entire' games 2. whether that is good/bad/meh for this season compared to others, or in general, is TBC 3. no "source data" on how many #entire' games everyone in the list played (Winks cannot have played many)
As I said a while ago, every attempt on goal has a mean probability (MP) of being scored, if every outfield player had N attempts at it. For scenarios where difficulty is high (ie MP is low) , the likes of Kane and Son have MP values greater than that of most of their peers.
Makes you wonder how many goals Lewandowski should score. This period covers his time at Bayern, during which he's netted a ludicrous 344 times in 375 games. Apparently he's underperforming by 3%. Should've got about ten more, apparently. Clearly ****.
It means he is less likely to be scoring from attempts on goal that have quite high difficulty. For the "bread and butter" attempts, you can bet your house on him scoring. Wich is precisely what you want at the minimum from a striker.
He's quite Lineker-esque. Gets in the right place, anticipates everything and puts the ball in the net. Crowded boxes, lonely counter-attacks, left, right, headers, penalties... does the lot. His positional sense and finishing are pretty ridiculous.
BBC saying that Conte has committed to us for next season. No quotes though. Antonio Conte: Tottenham head coach to stay on next season - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61610571
I don't know why, but it looks fine on the ladies and a bit **** on the men, for some reason. The yellow stripe thing doesn't work, in my opinion. Maybe it'll grow on me?
I like the new tops and if Nike need someone with a set of highlighter pens to jazz up last years shirt I'm your man
Kit launch video: Some forensic fruitcakes have noticed a couple of things about it already. The magazine being read in the park is about Istanbul, the CL Final venue for the season. The calendar with Jimmy Greaves pictured has today's date emphasised and tomorrow's circled. Presumably today is about the kit and tomorrow is reserved for something else.
