By my calculations another 432 days so just short of £600k more to pay. Give him half of that and tell him to **** off now.
I have just watched a replay of the semis against the rams and it still beggars belief that Coco wasn't launched head first out of the club the same night......his errors that night (and other games) can best be described as borderline criminal, in fact I was laughing that hard I nearly had a coughing fit I have just watched a replay of the semi against the rams and still can't believe what an utter pile of shyte that clown is how he wasn't launched head first out of the ground afterwards with his gloves up his arse I will never know, his display at that game was bordering on the criminal, in fact it was that laughable I nearly had a coughing fit.....pay the clown up and tell him not to darken elland road ever again, he is on a par with rachubka and at least he cost peanuts....adiós a-mug-o
And at the time there were posters here and all over social media defending him as a goalkeeper. I remember it well.
One of the goals was half Coco and half Cooper. Cooper still has those moments now. Against Brentford he had a brain fart. He seems to wait for the biggest games and then ****s up.
Not me i was astounded by which club he joined from. You would think he was playing that way on purpose but i doubt he was that good.
True but Llorente has shown to have similar in him and had much worse mistakes this season that have cost us goals. I don’t recall an error by Cooper leading to a goal this season. The fact we stopped conceding as many when he returned this season has shown how important he is to this side. Invaluable leadership (we don’t have any other leaders apart from possibly Dallas as he digs in when needed) and didn’t the players pick him to be the captain? He’s come a long way.
There's supposedly a Tweet from the CD Castellon official feed saying that he is joining our coaching staff as assistant manager. I've seen it on an FB page but not sure if it's real.
He has come a long way and the stats speak for themselves when he’s in the team. But against Brentford he was nervousness personified which is not what you need from your captain. Koch and Llorente looked composed in comparison. Maybe Cooper wasn’t helped by the fact he had the inept Firpo to his left.
None of the defence covered themselves in glory for the Brentford goal - too busy ball watching, not covering the runners and getting out of position.
I winced and held my head at one point when he did the Coops lunge. So lucky he didn't catch the Brentford player because it would have been 10 v 11 at that point. You know, the same lunge that he did against Millwall a few seasons back and Citeh last year both resulting in a sending off.
Don’t know why he keeps doing it. You never see Llorente, Koch or Struijk lunge in like that. They seem more controlled.
Get cresswell in. Player and a bruiser. Would also be better than all the others when we get a corner. Countless headers at the opposition goal by our centre backs always miss.
Struijk does but usually misses the guy... koch is never close enough to his man to foul him and Llorente is too big a wimp to kick anyone. They bi-product of a manager who liked to play midfielders as defenders when he had the chance... and bought CBs for footballing abilities not defensive ones. I think with Coops it's pressure. Seems to be largely the big games.
There was much willy-waving on signing a player from Real Madrid, and some blinkers worn for a while by some whilst in denial. Perhaps understandable when at the time, signings from Middlesbrough were considered a coup. As the poster responsible for christening him Coco, I, can personally plead innocence.
