I think Gino and Duxbury need to treat this summer like when the Pozzos first bought the club. They really need to start again, treat any quality players they've inherited from last season as a bonus, and build a strong Championship team that can build to promotion and then, with a few additions, stay up, and not necessarily prioritise getting promoted this year. However, money may mean they feel they have to try to bounce back up immediately by any means possible, even though we would no doubt come straight back down if we did that.
Pedro’s agent seems to be touting him around to bigger clubs . Guess we might see a lot of this unfortunately.
It is a shame, but I can understand why. He is obviously young and has potential. He's been in the Championship as well as the Prem and can now compare the two. I know, as a player, where I'd rather be. Also, the earning potential must be substantially higher. Personally, I can see a fair few of our players looking to do the same despite what age they are.
Maybe we can loan some of teh "potential" to Udinese and MASSIVE if we go back up get them back. Sure, the family will want to try to think of a way just in case. Well, I would at least.
Liinked to the 29 year old full back Cyrus Christie by BBC sport. Seems to have been around a bit without finding a permanent home too often.
Already such comments and nay sayers elsewhere naturally. https://wfcforums.com/index.php?threads/cyrus-christie.59375/#post-3132158 Anyone we sign will be not good enough for some - if we signed the Wilson lad suggested by a few people probably be complaints that "he's only been in league Two" etc. Got Championship experience and well 29 isn't that old if he is here for 2 season or so. I am sure Edwards would rather have that than someone from Udinese or an unknown prospect from overseas in a way. Anyway as we all know the transfer rumors will be flowing in now with agents looking to get their clients a move and clubs looking to improve the squad.
I'd have thought he'd have stayed. Oh, it is going to be an interesting summer. Maybe the new manager is going to do a complete rebuild.
If it's the manager making the decisions... I guess they hope to keep Kamara and have a younger player as back up.
I hope that Cucho stays, although he may be sold because he has only two years left on his contract. He has had injury problems, but he could score a lot of goals in the Championship if he stays fit. Cucho is close friends with João Pedro in the dressing room, he has a great attitude and he always gives 100% per cent when he plays. He was a prolific scorer when he played in Colombia and in the Segunda Division of Spain.
Not sure if Sissoko will stay or go after that interview: https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/20159657.moussa-sissoko-claims-given-everything-watford/
According to this site, Sarr is wanted by Everton, Palace, Newcastle and an unnamed German club. A bidding war might help to raise the price. https://www.jeunesfooteux.com/Ismai...wcastle-Crystal-Palace-et-Everton_a55180.html
