I share the same view... but would of probably expressed it in a better way and i am not having a go at our own fans. It is annyoying when people complain and use the argument 'i paid for this ticket' etc and its not just that its the way some say it... yes am young but sometimes the way people ask is dissrespectful ie certain people dont ask pleasently... just tell and demand respect. it would be nice for someone to just say 'excuse me could you sit down as we cannot see.. or move if it bothers you?' that wouldnt bother me its the 'OI get out the way i cant see.. followed by the muttered 'bloody youths' and before anyone says about 'the old days at torquey etc iv been supporting city since they were in division 3

Sorry about the double post. Away has too be different.
The way I feel is this, unless we fill the away end there is always somewhere to sit. When you but your tickets ask for ones at the back if you want to stand.
I'm too old really to stand but the only person who annoyed me by barging past was older than me. My mate starts off chants and he gets. Loads of mucky looks.
Watching city play sometimes is like being in Asda on pension day, with that mad scramble to get the oopsies.
One great thing about today, hooters!!!!!

anew11 - you are a complete ****wit. I hate people standing up in front of me. I can cheer and sing just as loudly sitting down. I have back pain, and standing up in seating areas is usually very uncomfortable.

Having some gobby twat standing up in front of me does not actually help the players to win - all it does is piss me off. If you want to stand, buy a ticket in the back row or spend your time at the match in the gents.

At Donny I was sat down for most of the first half because no one around me had dared to stand up. When Waggy scored I obviously celebrated and because I was still stood up a millisecond after they kicked off again the guy behind me had a go at me and gave me a proper dirty look. He'd obviously assumed long before that I was a youth out to cause trouble or something.

Around me, everyone stood all game and we had a very good steward.

He told everyone to sit down while his boss was there, then when his boss walker off he said 'right, he's gone, you can stand up again now'. <laugh>

Some people obviously don't listen, I have complete respect for old people who require to sit down or even people with back problems. But in my case It's normally middle aged know it alls that demand you sit and don't even ask.

So we can go 2nd if we win our game in hand, we're on an awesome run, and yet some ******s still think they can tell other people to stand up at games? Because in their view, it ruins games? Really?

You seriously need to **** off tbh. Throwing stats around about how many people at games want to stand up makes you look like a **** too. Just because you and you 2 mates want to stand doesn't represent 95% of the fans, the fans wanting or in fact needing to sit down were fans long before you were born, and will be long after you **** off too.

Answer is simple.. Have a standing area and a sitting area. Ticket office only have to say sit or stand when selling tickets. Top rows stand, lower rows sit....

Some ****ing ****s on here. Firstly, you can't always move to the front because the stewards make you sit in the seat your ticket allocates. Also, as part of (roughly 10%) of season ticket holders who make the effort to support the Tigers away, people have the right to sit in the seat they've paid for - who gives a **** if they're sat down? As long as they're supporting the team. Of course you stand up at times of superb celebration like after McLean's goal yesterday or to go psycho at some **** refereeing decisions, but it isn't a necessity to stand for the duration. And 95% prefer to stand? What ****! Many people have no choice but to stand if they want to see the game. Get sitting banned at away games then and watch our currently strong away support dwindle. For all of you slating the 'sitters', piss off with your arrogantviewpoints.

That, under current regulations, is simply not possible. You might as well say "Bring back open terracing", there isn't the political will to do it at the moment.

The politicians need to want to look into how to achieve the safety of all-seater stadia whilst having open terracing areas. However, politicians will be very reluctant to do this because the risk is simply not worth the the benefit TO THEM. Who cares about football fans? Nobody. Why? Because they don't have an MP in parliament.

I stood a Bristol, sat at Brighton, stood at forest, sit at the KC. I don't care if those behind me cannot see if I stand, but do care if I can't see because someone stands in front of me. I'm just a normal bloke who goes to matches. Sometimes I sing my heart out, others I stay silent.

The ones who sit and moan about standing should hand out a few of them humbugs that they always have in their pockets and get those around them on their side, it isn't hard.

I always choose where I get tickets, simply asking for "at the back behind the goal" generally gets you with the standing lot.

Surely the best seats for those who want to sit are on the end of rows near the exits, why are we discussing this, because we are getting more traveling fans. But really it isnt a problem unless you make it one is it.

i was at the far left and will admit i was sat for majority of the match cause i felt like **** but got no problem with people standing we had some right arsehole stewards near us and some gobby chavs swearing and having a go at an old couple that had asked them to sit down cause they couldnt stand but the fact that the stewards eventually kicked them out i thought was harsh! but the chavs were kicking right off at this old couple and giving them lots of **** most of the first half i actually wanted to punch one of them as there was no need to be saying what they was thought it was funny when frenchtickler told the stewards to use some ****ing brain cells and ask them to move upto the back where everyone was standing was instead of kicking them out it shut them right up and the stewards moved away! noticed they dint do **** when the whole end stayed stood up after the goal haha woulda been funny watching them try kick everyone out lol!

    Dozy c*nt.

My preference is to stand, always has been, always will be. Used to love the swaying and sugres in Kempton and on Bunkers years before that. And that anyone is easy to move around at will.

A fella just along the road from me who had been going to City for donkeys years, used to put new players up in digs at Boothferry, sold lottery cards when we where sh*t blah blah blah. Getting on a bit, but looked forward to City especially away games.

Promptly cut all ties with City due to some little gobshite like you who he politely asked to sit down at an away game (WBA first prem season), and then for the remainder of the game got dogs abuse and pushed and shoved as he left the ground. Also saw pretty much none of the game.

Think also of little kids (younger than you) who want to watch their black and amber heroes at home or away.

So daft c*nt it's not all about you.

    There.

I do think the ticket office could do more to split front seats for those who want to sit and back seats for those who want to stand.

Sorry if I offended a few people, I would like to say again anyone who can't stand or asked politely then I'm fine with moving. The thing that annoyed me was certain people shouting for u to sit down. If you ask nicely I would move. I don't want to have a rant at my own fans so sorry u pay the money so do what u want.
