have to say that reading around various posts that have been thrown up around social media, the WW fans, players and staff have been very gracious...i also reckon quite a lot will have been said through gritted teeth but we are all guilty of that.

I'd agree with that on the whole.

Wycombe couldn't use their normal tactics so the cheating was much less than usual ...

.... didn't stop them surrounding the ref trying to get Cirkin sent off at Wembley.

Glad to see the back of them tbh.

To be fair, he could have easily seen red. That challenge so soon after getting a yellow was risky............to be fair, the thing that probably saved him was the fact it was so soon after his 1st yellow

    I totally agree mate.

Doesn't alter the fact that Wycombe reverted to type.

How proud could you be, bullying a referee into sending off a young lad at Wembley ...

... it was a genuine attempt to win the ball and he was at the end of his stretch so no force it it.

Didn't stop the Wycombe player going down like he'd been tasered.

soon as i heard for sure that VAR would be in use i knew it would stifle their normal game, it's just a shame that teams feel they have to employ those tactics against us as (and i have said this about a few teams this season) when they get the ball down and play it is a much better/closer game i think.

this 'massive club' syndrome that went before us really worked against us on all levels, teams employed whatever tactics they could think of to stop us playing, referees and assistants wanted to show they would not be swayed by the crowds and people seemed to forget that although we had a different infrastructure to most we still were a league one team with league one players.
