Facebook is full of Newcastle fans who suddenly want to post about Sunderland. Somehow, all the ones who said we’d get hammered seem to have lost their internet connections simultaneously!!

Mad. I don't care at all about them, especially this evening. It's all about us.

listening to the crowd on this and it makes me wonder if wembley is designed to cut crowd noise to a minimum, have often thought the england games and cup games seem a little subdued, could tell our lot were singing well but it did not come across as loud at all.

Saw a post earlier saying we shouldn’t be celebrating like we did as it’s only the third division!!! We should have just clapped and gone home I guess!!

Nice to be able to keep the mag tossers from posting on here with their **** 'banter' at least. There will be more than a few of them disappointed tonight.

I do like Gooch, always have. It's funny how he's a veteran player for us who has been through the wars and seen it all but he's only 26. We should keep him around.

And he’s only 26 too!! Been at the club 10 years I think. Testimonial time! Definitely have him signed back up. Heard rumours than Neil wants him.

I've said a few times recently I have been a fairly harsh critic of Gooch. Mainly because I want him to be untouchable in the first team as I love the fact he committed so much to this club so young and has become one of us.

Recently under AN he has been class, so it's a no brainer now to get him signed up with his love of the club and him playing so well!
