Anyone watching the Port Vale v Swindon Playoff game? I will never moan about VAR again. No VAR in these play offs semi’s, and Swindon denied a clear penalty for handball, then PV go down the other end and score an offside goal. And we think the officials in the premier league are bad!
Not even two years - 17 months, I think. You'd think Rooney was 17 years older. Ironically, Rooney at his peak had a natural fitness, which came from his natural strength and power - quite short and stocky, but powerfully built, which gave him some pace and he had a good engine to get up and down the pitch - yet Ronaldo has always worked exceptionally hard to stay in tip top condition. There were separate programmes on TV about them at different times analysing what gave them their physical prowess; Rooney's seemed to be down to natural ability whereas Ronaldo was more reliant on conditioning. But as soon as Rooney stopped playing.......
You should see some of the useless, clueless muppets we get in the Championship. One of the very worst is Simon Hooper who, somehow, does a few Prem games and also works in the VAR box. A master of non-decision making in key areas. Has he graced Spurs ground yet? If not, you have a treat in store.
