Thought he came of age towards the end of the season. Definitely in the play offs. Had another very good game today. Massive future.
Pickford is a once in a generation keeper so it’s a hard conparison. But he was indeed brilliant today.
Very good again. Potential being realised which is great to see. Having a good run of games often either makes you or breaks in his position, and he is looking like a goodun.
Yeah he looks a class act, quick on his feet and a good shot stopper of course. The main thing that makes him stand out for me is his confidence and his confidence in his decision making, he makes intelligent choices and doesn't hesitate to make them. That's something you can't teach. Really pleased for him he was highly rated as a youngster and you can see why. Don't know why but I always think he'd look at home wearing a vintage RAF uniform, just needs a tache.
Pickford's not that great like. He's a decent shot stopper and that's it. He's mentally frail as ****, erratic distribution and crap at coming for crosses. Loves to shout, scream and make out its everyone but his own fault.
He is England's first choice but I have no idea why. Not exactly blessed with much competition for the shirt I suppose. I get you lot will stick up for him and I understand why. But he's not a once in a generation keeper. That was just bollox and deep down you know it. He wouldn't even make the top 5 keepers in the PL. De Gea Ederson Allison Lloris Mendy Ramsay All ahead of him.
I know he is playing at a lower level than Pickford so hard to compare, but I think he has had a similar impact recently. Been absolutely outstanding. His confidence is sky high!
You have assembled a nice list of outstanding keepers with Ramsay the only one on the list I would question , but none of them are English but I don’t think he is the best of a bad bunch as all of them have flaws in their game in the same way Pickford has.
He's not a once in a generation keeper though. He's just a decent, English keeper. And bigged up by you lot mainly due to passions and loyalty when the reality is, in the league he's had a ****ter of a season. He's conceded 61 goals. Granted with a shockingly bad defence but so do many of the teams bottom half of PL.
Patto looks great for a young lad, we've had a canny run of keepers followed by a terrible one, hopefully sorted now. This lad is good, might be brilliant, but he'll do for me either way, chuffed for him and us
61 goals conceded. Dropped against us due to his mental frailty. Making out he's once in a generation? Is he bollox. I pointed out plenty that are better in the same league so not once in a generation. Lets not let facts get in the way though eh?
