Football in certain City’s is a passion. The fact we seem to try and create it every so often with different owners tells its own tale.
****s sake how many more times, I can easily afford it, and I’m ok with paying it, but some people are not and I’m on their side
No I know, however I heard Acun say the fans selected will be long term pass holders, but doesn’t the data protection act stop companies holding information on people after a certain time, 5 years is it? I’m not sure
Personal data maybe, but surely they can freely hold the data of how long we've used their services for, as current members.
You haven’t been in E1-3 lately if you think the atmosphere is ‘moody’ It’s been better than it has been for ages. Remember that glorious video of our fans going bonkers when we equalised to spoil Forest’s day out? Well all those fans are being moved from where they went bonkers…supposedly to improve things
Nowt wrong with that. But if someone's pushed at a fiver, then wouldn't be the logical step to take a cheaper membership and make a new community a couple of blocks away?
It's not really been mentioned much but with the club bringing back the one off payment option too, I wonder if fans doing this will receive a discount as you would usually It was certainly something I saw a number of people complain about when the option was removed.
There's highly likely to be a new community anyway. We know from the last few years that there's been lots of empty seats and hopefully we'll see those seats now being filled. It's like those people who refuse to go until the Upper West gets reopened, I don't understand it at all. Do you go to support your team or to sit in a specific seat? It seems completely bizarre to me
Let them speak for themselves instead of you going full bore at everyone about it when it doesn't impact you. I haven't seen one person on twitter or here or anywhere for that matter react with anything other than positivity at the prices. Feels like you're getting angry for the sake of it.
How many times have we moved some of our most vocal fans in the name of trying to improve the atmosphere in the ground ? I don't expect the new owner to know all about it but he could have consulted people who do. We've done the home fans in the North stand thing very recently and it didn't work
Go on the Facebook fans forum, there's quite a few whinging. The problem is that it's not cheaper for everyone, so people moan. It doesn't matter that a pass 8-10 years ago cost the more and that's without counting for inflation too.
Of course it impacts me, but I can stand the increase, some may feel they can’t, we may follow different people on Twitter and I won’t quote them but Twitter does not speak for everyone, and unless everyones opinion is asked we will never know how many are in favour or not, but to say we should all be happy about a price increase, even though it’s still cheaper than years ago, is missing the point, a few thousand fans are subsidising the rest of the ground, at a time of massive price increases. The owner wants kids to have fee admission, but not really because he’s upping the prices to the East and West to pay for it.
There is no decision anyone will make in any walk of life that will make 100% of people 100% happy 100% of the time. That's life. It's not missing the point to say it's significantly cheaper than years ago. As has been pointed out, the prices for adults are cheaper behind goals and that's paid for by the more expensive seats elsewhere, the price rise has nothing to do with kids getting in for free.
What and you know that do you? I’m assuming that’s how the kids are being subsidised, Acun knows but won’t say, and I totally agree that we have the best seats in the middle of the East, the worst ****ing concourse, but that’s another story, and we should pay more, however, the timing is awful, Acun never mentioned price increases, only that the admission prices would blow football away.
