He's lowered the majority. Its not unusual to pay a bit more for a better quality product. Sounds like you're just wanting someone else to put their hand in their pocket to pay for your enjoyment
Is it unreasonable for him to ask all of his family and friends to chip in a fiver a month each for the memberships they have been fleecing him for? They are Adults so I presume have some kind of income. It feels like this is more about you having to pay more and others less, but as someone has pointed out if you were buying tickets for a game most other places or a gig/comedy show you would be charged according to how good your view/seat was. You're entitled to take the increase how you like of course you are but your friend has not been told he cannot come, he has been told there will be a charge for the premium view he is enjoying. The fact he pays for half the people around him is his own issue to sort with them. I'm in the corner because we like it there, I would not sit on the half way line if you paid me a fiver a game to be fair. I take my chances that I'm gonna get a close up of around 50% of the goals each year.
Some baffling post at the moment. The Big Turk obviously did not like the idea of witnessing big away support behind the goal helping their team score goals and to be fair neither do a lot if other clubs yet here you all arguing about prices instead of praising the man for at least trying to make the MKM more vociferous and intimidating place for the full 90 mins rather than it’s current moody atmosphere.
Too many folk wanting something for nowt. Competing in the championship as opposed to scrapping at the bottom costs money. Put your hand in your pocket for less than the price of a Pint a game extra or move to a cheaper seat for someone who will. Its not like there aren't options.
Well we tried this and guess what it actually made the atmosphere worse , what makes you think it will be better this time ??
Doesn’t take Kids long to become youths attracted to the idea of being with mates instead of Dad. We all did it once remember.
To put this ‘Atmosphere’ thing to bed ( it’s been done so many times now) Start winning and the place gradually starts rocking again.
I would 'guess' it was about the move not the kids (which I think is a good idea) & it didn't work (& was handled incredibly badly) - not sure what it was about North Stand, the concourse was incredibly cramped, split away from other supporters in East Stand you have gone with / met up at Half time, the.short lived Ultras didn't work either Football (support) cops aren't created, they are organic, I don't see why it would work this time. At BP during various eras we moved to various areas in different seasons (bits of the ground being closed down, Kempton, North Stand, South Stand seats at one point... All organic, not imposed. Hope it does work...
Most important thing is to allow it to develop organically without another move in a couple of years. Obvs you can't organically develop loud support in an area hitherto reserved for away fans until you move them.
We’ve got a youngish nosy bunch trying in the south east corner this last season - much appreciated - as I’m surrounded by snooker watchers! Be interesting to know how many on here sit with their hands under their legs and don’t shout or sing . I’m a noisy supportive fella - being a super fan it comes easy - actually I like an audience to be honest
I don’t know his exact circumstance, but I don’t think they work, for whatever reason, I can easily afford the rise, but I know it’s just another extra amount of money they have to find to enable them to stay in their seats they’ve had since the stadium opened, and I agree we’ve all ways had to pay more in East than South, I’m just questioning why now, when we’re all under pressure with money, as someone said shove the trip into touch and keep the price the same for this season at least. I don’t like the, **** you, pay it or move that’s seems to be the thing on here
He was the **** that assaulted my daughter in the North Stand a few seasons ago, he doesn’t seem to come to games any more
Again they are splitting up the vocal and most boisterous section of our support . Acun says he wants a full ground that is noisy . He should have gone and stood in E2 and consulted the supporters there .
