What project? Stay in the PL by the skin of our teeth watching the team getting tonked every week, hoping there's 3 teams worse than us project?

No thanks. The guys leaving at the end of next season anyway, what's the point?

Besides being wrong you're also one of a small but noisy minority on here and other social media disgraces.

Why is someone criticised for offering an opinion. I agree some can be a bit apathetic but they still should not be criticised for offering an opinion.

It's the opinion that's criticised not the offering of it.

There’s a good player in there, no doubt. As it stands, there’s a lot of work to be done by him and by the coaching staff, to make the most of that.

Ive gotta say that its possible to love football and love the club without being in love with winning. Patience is scare in elite sport so the idea that the club would back Ralph through the next window is a positive to me. This isnt a total loss scenario, we've had another bi-polar season but at our best we've earned the respect and praise of pundits and rivals. At our worst we've just failed to be consistent and brave and rarely been woeful. We desperately need leaders and competitors to enforce standards and display some mental toughness, hopefully its contagious.

I take the wins as a treat and the losses on the chin. No other way to be when you support this club.

If burnout is the reason for our poor end of season form, then next season bodes well, with a six-week rest period between GW 16 and 17.

Maybe we are all seen as unreasonable. Lawro on Sunday's prediction:

"It has been a disappointing ending to the season for Southampton, who have won only one of their past 11 league games.

Even so, they have never for one moment looked like being dragged into the relegation scrap so I don't get why their manager Ralph Hasenhuttl is coming under pressure from Saints fans. What are they expecting him to do?"

To be fair, if we take a step back (and I never thought I'd say this), he does have a point.

So on the fence still but now about to fall back on the Ralph in side.

I do think people need to consider the context of the absolute vat of nothing Ralph has had to work with.

However I absolutely detest fans of non ‘Big 6’ clubs being told to ‘know their place’ by fellators of the ‘Big 6’.

Yes of course, we should be perfectly satisfied by P11 W1 D2 L8 and should meekly accept this form without question.

Completely reasonable that we should be pissed off.

I've changed my mind several times over the last few weeks about Ralph. I’m sort of glad that board are backing him as it pretty much ends the debate for at least 6 months!

Nor can most people TBF, as all bookies would be out of business rather than loaded.
