For the most part I'd think, yes. I don't know of any openly homophobic people within my own personal walk of life. I've never encountered one. No doubt they do exist, and I'm sure there is a problem with some, but the people who have a problem with it aren't the people who will be swayed by wearing a rainbow anyway. The point of the OP isn't whether there's a problem, it's whether people should be forced to wear said rainbow, or be disciplined in any way if they decide they won't.
I did see something recently about stopping people within the game to ban it yes. First person that comes to my mind would be the Jose' Ad.
Speaking of footy betting ads Peter couches one has DT in it still. DT is an aftv regular now serving a decent bird for kindap
Newcastle United has pumped money into the womans team after the Saudis took over. Football is what it is nowadays. Wouldnt take it too serious
When my lad was about 10, me him, his best mate from school and his dad went bowling, a couple of lanes down, 4 obviously gay lads were playing and were a bit giddy and excited. The other dad was looking a bit angry, so I said you OK mate you look a bit vexed, ' them init, can't stand gays' oh 'OK why' ' just can't, could you think of anything worse, than if(my lad) came home and said, dad I'm gay ' yes I replied' 'dad I've got cancer would be one of many' 'well yeah other than that'. 'If he did come home and said that, then I would think no less of him but would feel for him because of the bigotry of blokes like you', wasn't the best of nights after that.
Agree...and I do think that discussion and debate is better than imposing a view ... it's how I have changed mind about different stuff over the years. Didn't think people should have to kneel (for example) over BLM...and don't think you can make people wear badges, ribbons etc for any campaign. Thought the quote from the Palace bloke was ****ish... the one about being "a real man". Thread has been an interesting read tbh.
I remember not so long ago the fireworks caused by an Irish player who played in England and refused to wear the poppy. I total agreed with him but the public wanted his guts for garters. Seems nearly everyone got some hate in them in some capacity......we need mass lsd sessions to get happier in our blink of an eye existence methinks......knocking down the wall
