What your not bothered about the millions in poverty and would rather the Royals rule over us, ok then
And this is why we have the no politics rule, comments removed and the same stuff continues, the posters will be removed.
Slight tangent but related. I heard on LBC or Talk Radio earlier this week about the C of E spending plans of, if I heard right, over a billion on stuff like getting to carbon neutral. I bet God will be really impressed with their spending plans. Meanwhile thousands in this country struggle with food, heating, housing, etc., never mind what's happening elsewhere. ****ed up world.
Rico does not have a chip on his shoulder, he's the most well-balanced man i know, he has a chip on each shoulder!
Some of the private rents are ridiculous . £749 for a 3Bed semi that's without your other costs . Probably means you'd need about £1,500 per month to live a fairly basic life
The big worry will be people who have bought at inflated prices in the past year or so and not fixed long term . If it was me I'd be have gone for a 10 year fix . Some will struggle a lot even if we only hit 2 or 2 n half percent base rate .
I went for a fixed 5 years in August at 1.49, but if I'd been a month quicker it would have been 1.3 I'm not sure that 10 years was actually an option though at the time or what the difference in rate was. I also waited out the stupididy in bidding wars for houses. People were paying 50k over the asking price.
The 10 year fixed are cheaper than the 3 year fixed and Nationwide have been doing them for quite a few years . You got a good rate there .
Maybe I excluded the 10 years on it being a higher rate. There wasn't really an indication of base rate increases when I started the process, although as they were rock bottom, they could only really go upwards.
I nearly moved last May and most of the fixed rates where pretty much the same give or take £10/15 pm The 3 year at the minute is a lot higher so maybe they expect 3 years of high inflation . Not that they always get it right
