Tom loved it here think his partner / wife was a nurse and they wanted to stay , I think his fouling and offside reduced massively plus his hold up and creative play improved too, shame it worked out to be a year late . I don’t think Mcann helped him to be honest he should have played more in my opinion
It's a little ironic that we probably saw Tom's best performances shortly before he was released, but if we have aspirations of moving things to another level next season, it's the right decision. He'll have no trouble getting a decent League One gig and good luck to him.

Smallwood wrong decision, other 2 no complaints. Elder and Wilks have sell on value, Emmanuel is our best right back if he’s fit for me. Good competition for Coyle, Ingram solid first choice goalkeeper. Honeyman is Honeyman. Smallwood 31 though and probably got one more good move in him so who’s to say he wanted to stay on just a 1 year extension…
Blackburn, Rotherham and now us all reached the same decision. If we are serious about moving onwards and upwards then personally believe it's the right decision. An unforgiving business is professional football
I think we can only say for sure if Smallwood is a mistake ( I don't think it is personally ) or not once we see who we bring in. He's done very well this year but as with eaves, he isn't going to take us to the next level. All the rest the we have retained ( on very cheep wages btw ) at a minimum have some value to sell on if we decide to ( wilks is the most likely )
Who is surplus to requirement at Barcelona, and probably Wolves. Maybe just maybe. Nah. Never going to happen. Shame.
Can’t say I’m too bothered about Smallwood leaving, assuming we’re getting a quality replacement. Similar to Eaves, didn’t really let us down but better quality needed. I’d like to see us sign a proper RW as well and get honeyman back through the middle, where he’s a lot more effective.
