Dear Sadio, Sorry about the short notice but games off tonight. Some of our players are roped in for silaging and Stews going to get his haircut. Jurgens agreed but asked me to let you know and could you tell Roberto the same? He'll pick you up usual time tomorrow. Cheers Ralph
Perhaps he wants us to play in an (almost) all white strip, serve up paella in the concourse, drink San Miguel (other Cervezas are available), and give Liverpool a game worthy of our last home match of the season.
Matchday. Calm. Obviously I don't want us to get stuffed but it's not the end of the world if we do and we tend to turn up for these sorts of games.
Now we've reached the final week of the season I'm just gutted that we've gotta wait until November for the WC
I'm not sure I agree with that Ian. I have found this season particularly hard work and have been questioning myself how much I enjoy going as opposed to just supporting the team. Maybe it's just me but I have found the team's attitude since early March so disheartening that I haven't renewed our season tickets yet.
I've enjoyed this season for the most part. It's just the worst part is unfortunately the last few months so it's fresh in the mind. However, it's worth pointing out we did have a long unbeaten streak at home between Wolves in September and the Newcastle defeat. Our home form was really good until then. And I've had some great away days (Spurs, Watford, Brighton, Leeds) along with some wretched ones! It was quite an easy decision for me to renew in the end.
Are you being a tease Tommo? Feel free to share the source of the rumours. Fleetwood Mac not accepted. https://inews.co.uk/sport/football/...thampton-van-dijk-salah-seven-changes-1633648
Yeah a bit ridiculous really. Especially as he didn't seem to care too much about our actual cup games.
Yep, I think Ralph struggles to understand what actually matters to the fans, the FA Cup is still a big deal for us and he chose the Citeh QF to play an out of favour striker and one who has been back up for a couple of years.
All well and good but has anyone considered that the ‘fringe’ players likely to replace them (most of whom would walk into almost any other PL team as first choice) will be doing their damndest to be in contention for the CL Final?
