he’s had more game time under marsch than bielsa… and apparently been injured for some of the time. James as striker was bielsa’s baby… because of his pace, pressing and work rate. All of which are better than gelhardts. The fact that he couldn’t hit a barn door with a banjo was apparently just a minor inconvenience
So do I. Though it is offset a bit by the dislike I have acquired for the strutting whingebag Arteta.
Dog-botherers have just gone 1-up v Luton with 8 mins to go. Jordan Rhodes scored. I didn't even know he was still playing.
Newcastle could finish 9th this season Regarding Chelsea @Doc absolutely zero chance of them being kicked out, the government and FA would lose too much income they’ll make some special concession no chance either of Golden boy Frank receiving a points deduction
Amazing what a few fresh faces can do in January. Newcastle are a completely different team than the one they were at Christmas. They deservedly beat Arsenal 2-0 tonight. Probably should have been more. Very impressive. We on the other hand went with what we had!
For what it's worth was pleased that Newcastle won tonight. Winning is a habit and once you start doing things correctly it's difficult to play any other way. Obviously we'll see come Sunday but surely it's better going into a dead rubber to be flying and full of confidence.
There is one big difference at Newcastle, it’s called a proper level headed Manager in Eddie Howe, we missed the boat by a few month in employing him, but there again he would not of been in the 49ers plans, now that plan has gone to rat sh1t.
The could jump three places to ninth what an achievement that would be I’m sure they’ll go for it. Villa could also jump three places with the Thursday game, I think it’s looking promising
On the other hand, Gerrard could save his players Thursday and have a go at Citeh on Sunday for his scouse colleagues!!!!
He’ll be available soon. He won’t be a big enough sexier name for them once the big money rolls in I’m willing to bet.
Mine too but he may not have come. Turned down Celtic for money reasons so no guarantee we could afford him
