if its at the right ehight. alisson is just that bit better and low risk. if this was no chance i'd have no qualms at all about kelleher and tbh on any given day he's fine but this will be both cbs and both full back so at least have someone there.
If we don't take this seriously we will drop points. Rotation is absolutely necessary with the CL coming up and 120 mins just played... But we have to take this somewhat semi seriously... And I'm pretty sure Klopp will. He won't do a full rotation.
Yeah he's not gonna be silly with it but at the same time I think fresher fringe players are of more use here than tired first teamers so I'm expecting a fair few changes.

It’s a no brainier imo. those who played 90 to 120 minutes should not start. Period. We run the risk of winning nothing more in pursuit of a 1 in 10 chance of City dropping points. Of course, play the strongest team possible without the risk of breaking them - and see where that takes us.
1 in 4. City have dropped points in 9 out of 37 appearances. (Slightly less than us). Ignoring the actual opposition just looking at number of times points have been dropped... We have a 6.25% chance of winning the PL still if we get through our next match unscathed. That's actually pretty decent odds, definitely in the realm of "could happen". Now that doesn't take into account home/away or mentality after losing points the previous game as City does... Or the fact that City can bottle high pressure games (it could end up like a cup final for them) Them dropping points means we're in with an unlikely, but not unreasonable, chance. Certainly better odds than needing to score four against Barcelona or needing to score three in a cup final against AC Milan in 45 mins.
I'm glad to see that merson has shown he has decided that gambling is not for him. He's managed to work out city are a sure thing a million times out of a million and Liverpool have literally no chance. Luckily merson isn't one to chase a sure thing anymore.
So... Fabinho, VVD and Salah definitely out, probably Robbo too. Guess we're playing a weakened side then
