For Lewis Potter apparently! He should stay another season, increase his stock and make more money for himself and City, and put his agent into the long grass!(for now).
Hull City are interested in signing Rotherham United striker Freddie Ladapo, according to the latest reports. It's no secret that Shota Arveladze will be bringing in new faces this summer to freshen up the Tigers' squad. City finished 19th in the Championship table last year, 14 points above the drop. Acun Ilicali's takeover at the MKM Stadium has provided a new sense of optimism ahead of next season with a return to the Premier League among his long term ambitions. EFL Hub claim that City are interested in signing Millers' striker Ladapo, who has just won promotion to the Championship with Paul Warne's side. The 29-year-old scored 34 goals in 104 appearances for Rotherham but looks set to leave the New York Stadium when his contract expires this summer. READ MORE: Hull City's star players rated as preparations begin for next season MK Dons are also reportedly keen on his signature. EFL Hub tweeted: "Hull City & MK Dons are interested in signing Rotherham United forward Freddie Ladapo, with his contract due to expire this summer." Decent back up option, but no better than Longman or Scott. Not sure this one has merit.
All the chat from my in laws is that West Ham preparing to come in at £15m, hoping the Bowen connection turns the lads head.
Probably his agent hawking him around Championships clubs, a decent Bosman signing, but I think Rotherham have the option to extend his contract by 1 year and then we would have to pay a fee for him.
Seems like the type we'd have been after under the old regime. Nothing wrong with him, but those calibre of signings aren't going to rocket you up the league quickly
According to Twitter, their fans are willing to drive him anywhere themselves, he’s a sulker & only really tries where he can be bothered. Doesn’t really fit the narrative of a player we’re after, if what Acun & co seem to be looking for!
Looks like Spurs are heading for the champions league. Not sure KLP fits that particular bill just yet. Southampton would be best I reckon. Relatively safe every season but a side he coukd work his way into quite quickly or even start for from the beginning
Think all the transfer rumours are agents trying to big up their clients. If the new regime is serious they will not be looking for players now finding themselves in league 2 or older players in their 30’s. Shota wants to build a young team with potential not only to challenge for the Premiership next season but also have the ability to move to that level. I do not see that with any of the players we have allegedly been interested in
Hopefully soon. The longer it goes on the more people will start to believe the **** poster on the fans forum. For me just activating the one years on Smallwood, Honeyman, Ingram and Wilks is good enough. Surround them all with better players see how they adapt and go from there, if they still stand out going on January start trying to extend for longer. Problem with this new ambitious regime is players start to see the £££ signs (rightly so career first etc) and it can make extending and agreeing new terms harder. I think it’d be fair to say a lot of the current squad are playing at their/close to their ceiling.
Are you sure about that? Too lazy to check, but that sounds unlikely. There's FC; then didn't Rhodes play in the PL at some point? How many years since they were in the PL? 2? Every single other player has left since then?
