Maybe for the first time ever I'd rather forget the FA Cup and concentrate on securing top 4. Awful thing to say, but our whole situation with the PL is awful, so be it.
I sure hope we don't see any more bizarre Audi selections. Chalobah has been ignored for some reason, then plays and our attack is transformed. What the fucck Audi???
Tuchel looks more shellshocked and rattled than any of the players by the goings on off field. Understandable when everything we needed and everything he wanted was going so well until Putin ****ed the world up.

But Audi needs to get his **** together, select the BEST 11 and go for it.

I think Liverpool will win comfortably, and would be amazed and pleased if we actually give it a go, fighting ,not walking and passing backwards.
If Lukaku starts, and Ziyech, Havertz and Werner watch from afar , then ...................................................

As long as we RUN don't walk, Attack, don't defend, and actually try, I'm OK with the result.

Well hats off to Chelsea for a brilliant fighting effort. Battered for 15 mins at the start, we gradually came into it, especially Chalobah who was shellshocked by Diaz for a time. Losing Havertz and Werner just before the start makes Audis' selections more understandable. To keep Liverpool scoreless was a mighty effort and with better finishers, we might have nicked it. That's the story of our season. No blame on Mount, the keeper simply pulled off a great save, as Mendy did. Mount was our best I think.
Liverpool are just that tiny bit better than us, so now we will rebuild and start the difficult task of matching or bettering Liverpool and City. Just 2 game to go in the weirdest and most difficult season we have probably ever had.

……we were very unlucky to lose that game on penalties. Pulisic could have and should have won that game for us in ordinary time with all the good chances he had. I was a bit surprised with the sheer intensity of the booing for Prince William and the national anthem. Liverpool normally boo the national anthem but not quite as loudly as they did yesterday.

Pulisic is the most unreliable player we have, should never start a really important game, you just can't trust him. Lukaku also was back to his real self, all effort and no result. Turns out Werner and Havertz weren't available so not much choice. Ziyech would have started ahead of Pulisic for me.
Poor old William did cop it, not pleasant viewing nor much credit to Liverpool fans for that. They are a mighty team though, yet we matched them twice this season. If we could just sort out our goalscorer we'd be up there with them and City. Big "IF " when we keep buying duds.

I think it's to do with things going on in other areas of life. The Scousers broke ranks on Brexit and their red wall isn't going to crumble any time soon. Tubs levelling up doesn't wash with them, they're not as gullible as The Monkeyhangers.

    That was a crushing defeat.

If I'm honest I thought on the balance of play Liverpool just edged the FA Cup Final and we just edged the League Cup Final but at the end of the day it is what it is. Liverpool are a better side, have the better coach and have the mental edge over us at this moment in time.

As for the booing of the anthem, I think that is just down to where your political allegiances lie. Personally I have no issue with it, I've visited the Hillsborough memorial and the UK as a whole turned its back on Liverpool as a city which led to a siege mentality. People may not agree with it but it's their perspective.
