**** man. 6 sleeps and I’m already bricking it! And there’s a match thread!!! Going to be no good by next weekend
Great thread Im confident we've got this....bricking it mind. Hawaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
Fantastic thread to round off the season RTB. Thanks very much for your efforts throughout the last 9 months. I've loved every single one of them. This will be a battle, but with patience,it's a battle we will win. I think we'll take the lead and add to it. The great thing about Neil's teams is they don't sit back once they go one up. I'm going 3-1 to the Lads, with victory secured late on, leading to amazing scenes from the 50,000 plus Red & White Army. Can't wait to get there on Friday and I'm really looking forward to the victory party for a change on Saturday night. Haway Me Bonny Lads, Do us proud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@RTB we all owe you a debt of gratitude for your matchday posts, they must require a lot of work all on our behalf - so I'll raise my glass to you bearing in mind my propensity for jinxing our results I thought long and hard about maybe abstaining from making any prediction, but I just have this general feeling that this is going to be the year we do it and I am filled with an positive anxious tension - but hey, we are Sunderland so I'm absolutely bricking it too! Haway lads and do it for us!
Aw ****e, having to wait for VAR confirmation before you can celebrate a goal isn't my idea of things.
At the Fury fight it was bud out of cans mainly. £7+ a pint. Early doors they sold out of big cans so switched to 440ml ones but the price was the same! Food looked rank as well to me, but we had been out for food elsewhere before. Be careful if you want to try and eat somewhere decent around Wembley, some places had 2 hour wait times! If I am honest I dont think much of the surroundings of Wembley so tend to go elsewhere in London then head to the ground a bit nearer the event.
Cheers @RTB. Now it’s real. Now the butterflies start. This will a tough scrappy game but AN will have the players well drilled and we ought to have enough. Roll on Sunday morning and waking up with a smile and spending all day reading reports and watching reruns. Hopefully.
I'm in two minds about this one. I think I prefer football as it was. Mistakes were all part and parcel of it - mind you, ask Howard Webb about his penalty decision against us and in favour of Everton.
