In the Wiki career summary, he has had an up and down career (well he is a keeper so dives a lot) being a match winner and a league keeper of the week one week and then throwing them in for fun the next. Alnwick played last night for St Mirren and by all accounts had a good game and a clean sheet. Quote from BBC Sport. ‘St Mirren keeper Jak Alnwick produced a fine display to deny the visitors on numerous occasions and thoroughly earned his clean sheet’

Denying the opposition might not always be about shot stopping. Taking out crosses for example wouldn't show up as shots or shots in target.

Good to get the first signing in early, particularly in an area where departures will leave us short on numbers. Has served his apprentiship in non-league and lower divisions. I hope he can make the step up for us. So, with Sam Bowen off to Newport, who do we definitely have in midfield so far? Wintle, King, Adams, possibly the versatile Ng, Colwill. Am I missing anyone? Certainly another 3 needed at least. Maybe 2 if Ralls stays.
