How refreshing for a referee to do most of his job properly for once, the only mistakes Tierney made were not booking Nketiah for diving, not booking Holding sooner and not giving Holding a straight red card (instead of a 2nd yellow) for a blatant elbow. Other than that Tierney had a good game, despite the verbal Diarrhea that comes out of Sharteta`s gob. Imagine if referees had the balls to apply the rules correctly in Varpool games, the likes of Fabinho & Mane would spend a lot of time suspended. On to Burnley at stupid O`clock Sunday, I hope we find more energy than the last lethargic early kick off we had v Brighton.

I just wanna give a shout out to Sanchez who delivered with a very solid performance despite my/our doubts.
Picking up on the late night comedy gold line up with the Muppet Show above... Holding had fouled Son 3 or 4 times in the first 10 - 15 minutes. It was clearly tactical. There was also the kick in the back when Sonny was on the ground having already been fouled. That went unpunished. However...Sonny did let it get to him and he could easily have got a (red) card for the elbow. There...I said it!
