Agreed on your final point. If we get relegated it's the honourable thing to do. The question is who do we bring in the

    1) Rebuild the team cos we're in with an exodus in the summer.

    2) Get promoted with a squad we can throw together over the summer.

Last time we got relegated from this league we started the next season with 7 players left from the relegation squad. I reckon we could have less players.

If we lose the next two games and the first five of next season that would be ten in a row... Do you agree?

We need to get rid of a lot of the old guard, and start again.

Wow, I never thought you would be resigning as a mod on here Ell, but I welcome whoever the new mod is going to be. Maybe a younger fresher mod is just what we need ;)

Or is that your proposal for the new ticketing policy at Elland Road. Anyone who attended a game more than 10 years ago, will no longer be allowed to buy tickets ? :emoticon-0102-bigsm

If we go down and Huddersfield fall to go up we need to offer Carlos Corberan whatever he wants to come manage us.

Hell we should try and convince him regardless

Have to say the buzz of travelling to Leeds remains the same regardless what division were in or what position. One more full nights sleep left and then the mayhem can begin. All 40 of us travelling as planned. I’m like a child waiting for Xmas

that’s right fella - recurrent injuries after the fact are a known symptom of over-training. Sorry I know that doesn’t fit the agenda <laugh>

This completely. We’re gone but I’d rather have gone watching Bielsa’s football. Players need to have a long look at themselves. If they gave up on Bielsa because of “man marking or over training” because they wanted change and have given up on his replacement then relegation is totally down to them.

If (when) we get relegated it doesn’t matter if we lose Llorente, Koch, Rodrigo, they couldn’t handle the physicality of the premier league, which is sod all compared to what you get away with in the championship. Raph was always going whatever division we ended up in. KP definitely goes if we go down. It’s how we use the money from their transfers with the parachute payments that determines if we come straight back up. Like I said before Norwich and Watford will keep most of their squad so will have less of a rebuild so will have an advantage over us next season.
