Im serious. We need to be absolutely ruthless tonight and if at all possible bang as many goals in as we can.

I'm hoping Gerrard scores an OG. Comes running on the pitch in a suit and tie... Tackles a Villa player runs around with the ball and scores a goal for Liverpool.

    Probably won't happen though.

    Utterly ridiculous.
How long has he been here? Still knows nothing about English football culture, it seems.

Just being realistic. There is probably less than 50% chance of it happening. Gerrard will know Aston Villa ownership might suspect split loyalties if he scores for us.

Part of me thinks we'll go out and absolutely smash them tonight with a 'nothing to lose' attitude.

The other part of me thinks we'll be really cagey because we truly believe (and so they should) we will still beat Man City to the title.

Oh, and I can't watch the first half tonight. Spurs was the first game I've missed in years!!!

We need to smash them to win the title. City free scoring goals these days. Their GD will almost certainly be higher than ours if we don't score plenty.

Three points behind City, our most realistic path to winning the title is City lose one game and we beat them on GD.

One or two goals per game may not be enough.

Klopp clearly has the cup final in mind with that team, and he has noticed Salah has not given us much in recent games, perhaps.

The Scouse Greek will put in better crosses than Robbo would, but not the same energy level or nasty streak

Bar going to Jones I don't get why people could be upset.

    Make the minds up please.

That is a strong team. Surely you can't think that's giving up.

Happy with that tbh. For whatever reason, Salah shouldn't start this evening and the rest might do him good too. More surprised that Gomez isn't playing over TAA. He's been in better form lately and Trent's crossing has been dire

Exactly same thought I had.. oh well, works in or favour and gives Salah an extra few days to get his mojo back.

Overall, it's a rotated side, but definitely not a weak side, and one that should get the job done. (Or we deserve to be out of the title race if they can't)
