    You're still thinking of them as a prem club mate. If you think of them as a league 1 club then it's understandable.

    Never a guarantee that they will beat Wycombe though

    I did love the commentator on Sky after the match "THIS GREAT CLUB IS ON THE RISE AGAIN!"

    They've just won a game that gets them into a play off to get out the third tier <doh>

    Shows just how weird they're. One clubs just become the richest club on earth and destined to chase winning the champions league and the other is in league 1.

    Tbh it's win win whether they lose to Wycombe or not.

    If they lose we laugh at them for another hilarious season with the liles of Morecambe and Fleetwood, and if we win we laugh at them pathetically rejoincing getting into the championship after 4 years of trying, knowing they'll be figjting for their lives in there.

    Anyway, enough about the insect kingdom!

    I remember when they got relegated in the Champ in 2017, they were all saying it would be good to have a few years rebuilding in the championship before getting back into the Prem <laugh>

    I've no idea why any mackem would think Wycombe will be a pushover...other than the one nil loss to MK Dons (which they won over two legs), Wycombe were unbeaten in their previous twelve league games. Its very much all to play for...howayyyyyyyy Wycombe :1980_boogie_down:

    If it's true their wage bill was twice the nearest spending club they should have pissed the league by now, what has happened? Bad managers and/or bad recruitment? Have the people involved realised they have bought into a money pit that's never going to pay out?
