I know people were tense but looking back at some of the moaning, on this thread, is a bit surprising tbh. Just as well that wasn't reflected in the support at the ground, we never stopped singing even when they scored. The players all ran themselves ragged.
Should be fine 3pm ko. Done and dusted by 5pm unless we go to pens. Give yourself n hour to get across London. Last 2 times I've done the overland from Euston to Wembley Central and walked round Got a taxi back after the Charlton game like. Couldn't face the train after a night stuck in the hotel with celebrating Charlton fans
Not many tickets left for journeys down on the Saturday. Booked a hotel just outside the M25. Decided to drive down early doors Saturday and get the tube into London………just have to get hold of a couple of tickets now!!
Smug, There were a lot of moans after Fridays game and we win that ffs. Other than they're goal Patto only had two shots to save and he never made one on Friday, that's how immense the team in front of him were. Our two CHs were outstanding, thought Gooch had a great game too. How many headers did Stewart win in our box? Roberts and Clarke grew into the game and we looked fresher than them even at 0-1 down, all in all a masterful two performances by the manager and team and a repeat on 21st should see us up.HTL
Think it was more just frustration at not taking some really good chances and a worry that we’ve seen it all before. Can’t really blame a few fans for expecting the worst after what we’ve been through! Thankfully the players were superb and done the job! I still feel knackered after watching that…and I was in my sitting room
Great to be back at Wembley again and confident we can do it this time. Really hope we batter Wycombe, the anti football specialists. On a side note, even though Defoe was great for us the first time round, and I will never forget that goal, I hope it hurts that he won't get the chance for one last dance on the world famous Wembley turf.
****ing hell, what a hangover. Pissed and up a height on a Monday night Loved AN’s ‘pop’ at the interviewer last night, chucking in the negative Wembley vibes straight off and AN basically telling him to **** off and stop talking ****e. He’s right up for this and has the team on the same page. Roll on the 21st May
Morning all and what a lovely day. Great performance from everyone concerned at the club. Wembley here we come. Can't wait for the Wembley Extravaganza match thread @RTB. Its our year. Keep the faith lads and lasses.
Absolutely loved AN's incredulity when the guy asked him if SAFC was too big for him - "Too big for me??" Going to snip that for my message tone. Confidence without arrogance
