Really optimistic for the next few seasons now. JB seems a very good fit for Rovers, and I only hope he doesn't get nabbed by QPR because we could be playing them anyway in a couple of years.

That’s a great stat and shows how fantastic we’ve been this year. Yesterday couldn’t have happened without our amazing run in 2022.

If you reckon we will Gastro then we probably will - you’ve been unrelentingly positive all through the season, even when we were crap, and you’ve been proven completely right!

 

Close season recruitment is going to be important, we have and it is my opinion that we have players who were not good enough this season let alone next season. Would love to see all our loanee's back for next season and with some of our present squad would give us a good basis for the coming season

Part of me wants Swindle to stay in League Two because they're tossers, another part of me wants them promoted so we can have even more local derbies next season!

 

You're right there, Swindle and that McKirdle character are nothing but tossers, and I can quite happily forego two local derbies if it means we don't have to watch/listen to or read about those idiots every week on local TV. Points West will be beside themselves with grief if Port Vale go through tonight!

 

Port Vale beating Swindle 1-0 which levels up the tie 2-2. Now gone to extra time and getting a bit feisty, DC just been sent off to the stands (bet that was Swindle's fault). Anyone's game at present.

So glad we haven’t got to go through the lottery of the playoffs. We’d beat any of those 4 teams but you never quite know what will happen - it only takes a crap refereeing decision or a red card to go against you and then it’s an uphill struggle.
