Do feel if Brighton can just find a player to be up top and score them 15 goals a season then would be pushing for europe. Easier said than done though, buying one from a prem club is gonna cost you 40m. Buying a proven one from abroad just as much and going lower you take a risk of them flopping which Brighton have had many do in the past 5 years. Potter got them player nice stuff and wonder if he’ll be courted by a top club when a vacancy becomes available.
there was the talk of Potter and spurs at the time Conte was appointed but i'm not sure why so many think Conte is walking at end of this season .
He’s being linked with psg job if Poch goes. tbh I think Zidane will go to psg, proven CL winner which is what they want. Especially if mbappe stays, might be able to convince him to stay even longer being his hero. Maybe go sign pogba
Amazing scenes at Brighton as utd are pulling a Liverpool v Stoke effort. We lost 6-1 and imo and strongly we had Rogers marked for the chop and were waiting for klopp. This is why caretakers til the summer are a gobshite idea.
I don’t get the fixtures and how they’ve worked. United now don’t play for 2 weeks with only 1 game left. Leicester and Everton have 5 left. Lots others have 4. I don’t get how United have no fixture next weekend? How can you not be scheduled to play a game the week before the season finishes
Still see city potentially dropping points in their away games. Wolves showed against Chelsea today they still are a decent team when can be bothered and West Ham have no Europa final now and might fancy catching United for 6th place. Have a better Gd and win their 2 games in hand will go above them.
Fa cup weekend mate. It's idiotic to have final league match after fa cup but utd played all their rescheduled games early and of course did **** in cups etc etc
I’d be happy to take a 1-0 win tonight to get back ahead on the table. I don’t think we’ll win on goal difference if we ended on the same points as City, so need them to mess up in their last 4 somewhere.
Experienced Premier League referees Martin Atkinson and Jon Moss to retire at the end of the season, following Mike Dean out the game (*Andre Marriner continues). Full story: Exclusive: Premier League referees Martin Atkinson and Jonathan Moss will retire at end of season (telegraph.co.uk)
Arsenal beating Leeds creating a 4 point gap between them and Spurs. They’ll all probably moan about it at the end of the season, forgetting that they really didn’t want to try to win. West Ham winning and will be a couple of points off utd in 6th - everything to play for…look out City
It'd be nice if west sham could have even a little to play for v city. But city will win today 5 or 6-0 and that will be that.
