God help the city of Sevilla if Rnagers make it to the final. 2-0 up at the moment. Where do that team get their energy levels from to play 3 matches at such an intense level over 7 days? Steroids because Leipzig are not getting a chance to play football. In fact they are getting ripped apart at the moment such is Rangers ability to attack down both flanks.
Forget that match and switch to Rangers v Leipzig!! Rangers play "in-your-face" football. While not the most attractive of styles it is very effective against teams who are technically superior,. Rangers also have skillful players such as Ryan Kent who I feel should be called up to play for England.
At least there won't be fisticuffs with WHU going out. I just hope Gers fans can behave themselves and not bring the city of Glasgow into.disrepute.
Rangers deserved that win. Very well drilled defensively, press the opposition into mistakes and use their own strengths. Without Moreles, I daré say they have become a better team.
They won't be able to play with that level of intensity in the heat of Sevilla. But Giovanni Von B is a brilliant coach and will no doubt get Rangers to.adapt to the conditions. If they could get rid of their association with Ulster Loyalism, I.would quite like them.
I dislike Rangers much in the same way as I dislike our fishy chums down the road, who play in a similar shade of blue - but fair play to them, they deserved their win tonight. Considering they have only existed as club for 10 years or so, that`s some achievement!
Two guys featured tonight, Kent and Abraham must be in the next England squad. Goldson is a far better defender than Maguire so perhaps he should be called up as well.
